_TI***n0Definitely must visit when in Xi’an. Must be fully aware that it quite challenging. Xi feng up and Xi Feng down is fully recommended. My route Xi Feng up, Bei Feng down took us almost 4 hours and that was when we skipped the three other Feng. 4 hours is the time spent on the mountain.

Nanwutai Mountain boasts both the rugged grandeur of the Qinling Mountains and a thousand-year-old Buddhist Zen atmosphere. When you're tired, the scenery is breathtaking; when you stop, you can find tranquility. It's perfect for busy working professionals looking to unwind. It's about an hour's drive from the city center, or you can take the scenic shuttle bus (20 yuan one way). - The shuttle bus stops at the Huolongdong parking lot, and the hike begins there. The entire route is about 4 kilometers, passing attractions such as the Black Tiger Hall, Purple Bamboo Forest, and South Sea Hall. The Black Tiger Hall features a thousand-year-old cypress tree planted by Emperor Taizong of Tang, exuding a strong sense of history. Many people come here to pray and tie red ribbons. The route is a loop, so you won't backtrack. There are rest stops along the way where you can buy cold noodles and bottled water, so you don't have to carry too much. - Must-see highlights: At the summit, you absolutely must visit Lingyingtai and Guanyintai!
