Anonymous userVery scenic walk. Good for a day trip if you’re staying in Chengdu. The lights get put on at around 6-6.30PM, but that area gets crowded, so make sure to grab a good photo spot early!

Anonymous userThere’s a shuttle bus from the Dujiangyan train station directly to Panda Valley. Took around 2.5hrs for the full walk. Saw sooo many pandas! They tend to be more active in the morning, and the crowds start coming in from around 9.30AM

GC_07It is easy to travel from Chunxi Road to Panda Garden via the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus stops in front of Qingcheng Mountain train station and you just need to walk over to the bus interchange to take Bus 102 directly to the panda base. My purpose was to see Lele, so I walked all the way up the mountain. You can also take an internal shuttle bus that ferries visitors from the base of the mountain to the top where Lele is. The place seems spacious and the weather was nice and cool when I went in early Nov. However, the visitors can get rather rowdy and noisy, especially those student or elderly groups. They have the tendency to talk loudly and shout at the pandas if they are not moving or sleeping. Sometimes, even the local tour guides join in the shouting while the security guards are trying to keep the noise level down. Other than that, it is actually quite relaxing to walk around and admire the pandas. P.S. The sausage sold at the store near Lele's enclosure is very delicious!

艳阳一姐Dujiangyan South Bridge, a serenely ancient covered bridge spanning the Neijiang River, its vermilion carved beams and painted buildings contrast beautifully with the emerald green water. Strolling across the bridge, the river breeze caresses your face, the water rushes beneath your feet, and the thundering roar of the waves creates a breathtaking spectacle. At night, when the lights come on, the bridge's shimmering lights, their reflections on the river's surface, create a vibrant scene. Local elders often chat at the bridgehead, creating a lively atmosphere. This place offers both the grandeur of a hydraulic engineering project and the relaxed atmosphere of a small town in western Sichuan, a truly unmissable highlight of the Dujiangyan Scenic Area.

simskyThis is a fantastic place to visit—and there’s no entrance fee! However, it’s a very commercial area, so be prepared for pushy vendors. There are plenty of restaurants, but they often try to upsell the most expensive dishes. This would be a 5-star spot if not for the shady restaurants.

Anonymous userIt is fun, but there are some hidden costs, and there are always ski instructors selling you tickets. If you refuse one, you will be replaced by the next one. It is really tiring. If you don’t hire someone to teach you, there will be no one to guide you on how to wear clothes and shoes. It is a long way to walk to the ski resort in ski boots, which is really troublesome. But when you get to the ski resort, you will be able to ski after practicing more. It is not difficult. I prefer the projects in the amusement area, which are easier and the shoes can be changed for easy walking.

_FB***24Intending to stop by to take pictures here. Coming back from Dagu, will travel to Chengdu. Walk to find it from the walking street. It is a square hole. There is a giant panda sleeping and taking a selfie. It is very unique. Walk through the tunnel under the road to the other side. The path is dark and very dilapidated. Around the giant panda, there are some old and dilapidated buildings, including the bathroom. But there are still some shops. The atmosphere has a lot of people and tourists. It is a landmark that you must not miss.

sharonchaichaiWe're tourists from Malaysia. We always see the cute red pandas on Xiaohongshu, and this time we finally had the chance to see them up close and personal. Red pandas are timid, so we had to be quiet and speak softly. First, we had the opportunity to feed the pandas and then take photos with them up close. The keeper then took us indoors for a close-up look at the pandas, and gave us a photo album at the end. We then began exploring the forest where they live, occasionally encountering red pandas passing by. The keeper told me that if I want to see the pandas next time, I should choose winter, as there's a chance I'll see mother pandas and their cubs, and there are no mosquitoes in winter.
