AlinkaShockWe had such a great time here. We booked the slot in the afternoon and it was great decision, it was enough time to wander around, take pictures and climb up the sand dune to watch the sunset and really cool laser show 🤩 highly recommend to stay a bit longer after the sunset for a better experience 👍

Surasak CalvinA guided tour of the Mogao Grottoes is essential. Our guides are incredibly knowledgeable and provide engaging explanations, not only about the stories behind the murals and Buddhist rituals, but also about the origins of the pigments and the stylistic differences between dynasties (e.g., the boldness of the Northern Wei and the magnificence of the Tang). They act like learned guides, decoding this artistic labyrinth for us. We recommend doing some research beforehand and going with specific questions in mind; you'll gain twice the benefit.

周华平The scenery of Yangguan Scenic Area is very distinctive, the traces of history have been weathered, and the only remnants left are the ruins of the broken wall, but from the ruins of the broken wall, we can see the wisdom and efforts of the ancients, the importance of customs in ancient times and the danger of war...

周华平When Yumenguan just entered, those drums were very big, and they were super loud and very interesting. It was very big inside. I went to two attractions by sightseeing car. It was very sun-dried. The traces of history felt like they were about to weather. I wanted to see it as early as possible.

Horace TongI was recommended to come to Dahaidao by a local, but had no way of getting there! Thankfully I found this tour on trip. The process was relatively smooth but what made it was my guide/driver/photographer Master Liang! I don't speak Mandarin but he went out of his way to help and accommodate me. He kept us.on schedule and showed us the best places to go, and took some great photos. I really appreciate his kindness and help the whole day! If you get a chance to go with him, do it!!

西格玛 123Opposite the hotel is the Dunhuang Museum. I went to the Danghe River in the morning and opened the museum when I came back. I have made an appointment in advance and it is convenient and fast to enter the museum. There are a large number of historical relics displayed here, each exhibit carries the memory of history, lightly talking about the glory and glory of Dunhuang, so that tourists can feel the prosperity and glory of that era.

U44***11Dunhuang Bookstore is located on the banks of the Dang River. The interior environment is absolutely aesthetically pleasing. The first floor mainly features cultural and creative products, while the second floor has a very rich collection of books, mostly related to Dunhuang. You can sit quietly all day with good books, coffee, and snacks. In the evening, as the sun sets, you can see a different kind of scenery outside the window!

M2d***gpThis is Bai Xin’s life and also the echo of Bai Xin’s life in the theme song of “Music of Dunhuang” “Young Man Under the Moon” when he was searching for his dream in Dunhuang. The soothing and powerful melody played by Bai Xin holding the pipa in the Sutra Cave and the interweaving of his fantastic life give people a sense of retro grandeur.
