Most beautiful valleys and rivers in Japan. I travelled many countries but this was amazing in all aspects. Superb experience. You can do it in one day but better to sleep over 1 night if hotels nearby available. I went with a bus from Nagoya a 3hrs journey 1 way.

I was able to enjoy the magnificent view while feeling the negative ions. If you go in the winter during the season, it's great to see it lit up!

A place where you can travel back in time to old Japan. You can feel the charm and elegance, and wherever you look is picturesque. There are not only foreign tourists, but also many Japanese tourists! It was a wonderful place where you could feel the good old culture of Japan. In Narai-juku, you can eat your way around, and I was able to try delicious dango shops, rice cracker shops, and Nagano's specialty oyaki ☺️

Togakushi Shrine-Togakushi Botanical Garden-Mirror Lake I originally thought that it would be easy to just walk around the shrine, but I didn’t expect Togakushi Shrine to be so huge! It is divided into five parts in total, and we only chose to go to Okusha. As the parking lot in front of Okusha was full, we parked at the parking lot of the botanical garden and walked to the botanical garden for about half an hour. In this way, we walked from Togakushi Botanical Garden to Okusha and back. The botanical garden is very large and there are many forks in the road (and there were always signs saying there were bears, which made us a little nervous). In this way, we walked almost 7km in the whole day! Moreover, the walk from Zuishinmon Gate to the shrine at the top of the mountain is actually uphill all the way!

Lake Suwa is famous for being the model for the movie "Your Name." After climbing the mountain, the view from Tateishi Park was spectacular!
