The dolphin and sea lion show is fantastic; you can sit in the front row and get up close to the dolphins, who can even balance balls on their heads! The mermaids' dance is beautiful, and the Golden Storm show is amazing. The mermaids even did a dance at the end, which was also very charming. I visited the Guangxi Anthropology Museum in Nanning.... and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip. The exhibits are beautifully curated, showing the richness of Guangxi’s many ethnic groups, but what struck me most was the bronze drum collection... what a massive, intricate, and symbolic of power and heritage. Standing before them, I felt connected to centuries of tradition. The displays on the Zhuang ethnic group were especially meaningful, with detailed presentations of their festivals, costumes, and music that brought their culture vividly to life. One of the must-do activities in Nanning was taking the last boat trip of the night. It was very quiet, the weather was lovely, and we took the kids to experience the atmosphere of a night cruise on the Yong River. The photographer was excellent, taking many photos of the children with great patience and care. Highly recommended!
