YellowcarnivoreSpent a whole day getting lost in 只有红楼梦 and there is still so much more to be uncovered. I only managed to watch 6 out of 21 performances (back to back shows are impossible as the place is HUGE), but there are some really good ones like 《四合院》 which explores the tension between old Beijing residents and newcomers from other cities (likened to 刘姥姥进大观园), and 《二商店》 which is set in the 1970s featuring an endearing character very much like 贾宝玉. The design of the entire complex is a work of art and I have not been to anywhere that is more immersive than this. Beyond being a feast to the eyes, I love how elements of 《红楼梦》 are thoughtfully and creatively reinterpreted in each space, blurring reality and illusion. It truly felt like a dream.

Anonymous userMy kids absolutely adore the zoo far more than Mandai. The themed playgrounds kept them entertained for hours, and the range of food options was impressive. With the wildlife park now rejuvenated and complemented by a resort soon, the experience feels complete. Bingo! We’ll miss this place and will surely return in two years’ time.

Andrew BeagrieAbout 30 minutes from Tangshan city centre, this wonderful ancientstyle water town has a lot to do. Night views are amazing. The boat cruise and the awesome live show are recommended. So many shops and different food stalls. You could easily spend a full day here but it's probably best to come once during the day and once at night. Can get VERY crowded on weekend nights. Overall, well with

Crumpled NomadVisiting the Temple of Heaven (天坛) in Beijing is a deeply enriching experience that blends history, architecture, and traditional Chinese philosophy. Built during the Ming Dynasty, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was where emperors once came to pray for good harvests, believing they were the “Sons of Heaven” responsible for maintaining harmony between heaven and earth. The most iconic structure here is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (祈年殿), with its striking blue-tiled roof and perfectly symmetrical design. What’s fascinating is that the entire structure was built without a single nail, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of ancient Chinese builders. Walking through the vast park grounds, you’ll also notice locals practicing tai chi, singing, or simply enjoying the open space, which adds a living, cultural dimension to the visit. The atmosphere is peaceful and spacious, a pleasant break from Beijing’s busy streets. Whether you’re interested in Chinese history, arch

蓝星旅行者⚽ Xia Yanluyin: Chaoyang Park football field Manji 🌿 The breath of natural meadow stepped into the football field in the southeast corner of Chaoyang Park, and the heat wave came wrapped in the grass and cracked musk. The natural lawn is spread out into an emerald velvet blanket under the July sun, and when you step barefoot, the softness of the grass and the warmth of the soil spread from the soles of your feet to your body. The white skin on the side of the field cast mottled shadows, the twigs squeaked like tides, and every sprint stopped sharply, and the water splashed by the grass chips spun into a tiny rainbow in the sun. 🔥 The hot arena at three o'clock in the afternoon has become a hot melting pot. The teenagers shuttled like cheetahs, and the back of the jersey was dizzy and the deep blue sweat was opened; the fathers formed the "set sun red team", panting and staring at the passing route; The wooden chairs on the side of the field have long been occupied~ mothers handed out ice electrolyte water, fathers held up mobile phone video, roaring "back to defense!" moment, the drone was skimming the treetops, the green field in the aerial shot like a blue inlaid in the urban buildings. 🌇 When the rest of the day fell to Xishan in the dusk, the training whistle gradually stopped. The children collapsed on the meadow and counted clouds, and the parents lifted their backpacks along the wetland plank road. The lotus wind swept over the reeds and sent the laughter of the water bank paddle board club; The neon reflection of the dam river in the Olympic Sports Center overlaps with the silhouette of the white scorpion returning to the nest into a flowing light belt. There was a long queue in front of the self-service water dispenser on the side of the field. The last bottle of ice cola in the freezer was choked by the teenager. The bottle was dripping with water vapor, and the half-faded training cone bucket between the grass leaves was wet.

XUANNERThe Grand View Garden is located downstairs from my former home. Objectively speaking, in winter, only the Spring Festival temple fair is worth visiting in the Grand View Garden. The other seasons, spring, summer and autumn, are all quite nice. The scenery is nice and it's more lively. There are many study Tours during the holidays and there will be guide teachers at that time. If you don't have an annual pass for the park, the ticket price is really not worth it. Especially in winter.
