_TI***llOne of my favorite, most beautiful place I've been to while living and traveling around China for 2 years. The mountains and temples are absolutely stunning. It's full of history, spirituality and lore. It's a must-see place for people interested in taoism and martial arts. Some attractions are easily accessible by bus, while others require more walking up the mountain or even cable car. There are also shops and restaurants near the bus stops which is convenient too. I would recommend travelers to book a hotel on the mountain for at least 3 nights so you can visit all the easily accessible temples. If you want to go off the beaten path, then you should stay for a longer time. I definitely want to visit again to see and experience more the mountains have to offer.

盒子哥哥123I visited Shennongjia in December. Although it was the off-season and the scenery wasn't as stunning as in autumn and summer, I must say the Shennongjia Scenic Area was truly excellent. A 5-day, 6-attraction combo ticket for only 150 yuan was incredibly reasonable. The accommodations at Muyu and Dajiuhu were both good. The road to Shenlongding was icy and snowy, so I bought snow chains for the first time. I visited Shenlongtan, Guanmenshan, and Dajiuhu once each, but I visited Shenlongding three times because… it was simply too beautiful.

契农索石守信It was so hot🥵, overall it was okay, the same price as the official price, no discount. I spent 65/person on the way (I understand the tour guide), so be careful when choosing if you have elderly people or small children in hot weather.

M30***30The scenic area combines various natural landscapes and cultural performances. It's not bad. It's a little bit strenuous. It's still a bit hot in the summer vacation, but there is a cave inside that is very cool. You can go there to escape the heat when it's too hot. The overall commercialization is relatively high. It is recommended to use a small sightseeing car. If you don't like walking, you can rent one and drive it yourself. I forgot to mention the travel meals inside. I signed up for a one-day tour. I need to pay an extra 35 yuan to have lunch at a store at noon. There are 10 people at a table. It's very unpalatable and very pitfalls. Avoid thunder

M42***78Too shocking! I am proud of the big country heavy equipment! The height of more than 100 meters can be lifted in just ten minutes. It is a very different feeling. I experienced the elevator by the boat! The experience of the Three Gorges ship lift line is very good. There are staff on the deck on the third floor to explain and learn a lot of knowledge!

4.6/5吃饱满面的仙女The best observation point of the Three Gorges Dam, standing at the commanding height of Tanziling, can see the whole picture of the dam and the five-level lock. The huge concrete building spans the Yangtze River, like a giant dragon lying on the river, and the five-level locks are progressively advancing, and the ships pass in an orderly manner. The strong visual impact is amazing at the greatness of human engineering. However, there are too many people during May 1st, and it may be more comfortable to see it in the off-season.

cynthia玉You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Three Gorges Dam across the way. Electric carts are optional and cover a distance of just over a kilometer each way. The Qu Yuan Temple, originally built in the Tang Dynasty, was relocated once for the Gezhouba Dam project and again for the Three Gorges Dam. The county government office and ancient dwellings resemble a small county town; I wonder if they were also relocated. During the National Day holiday, there are many performances showcasing local boat trackers' songs, folk songs, and customs, which are quite entertaining.

M26***02The scenic area is beautiful, with towering mountains, abundant trees, and incredibly fresh air! It's one of China's four major summer resorts, and the villa complex on Jigong Mountain, featuring international architecture, is known as a collection of world-class architecture and a museum of global styles. There are also some historical artifacts to see and learn about. On a clear day, you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset views. Overall, it's a well-deserved 5A-level scenic area!
