Anonymous userWorth to visit if you are travelling to Xining. Go to South Hall instead of the free North Hall to see the cultural displays. The QR code caused us some trouble as there were 3 places that you need to scan the code. But once you scan it will showed used and will be barred from entering the other 2 locations. The staffs were friendly and quickly manually let us in.

Lee415The tour is well organized with a coordinator contacting you the night before to confirm all details and pick up. The minivan had plenty of space and only half full. The driver was nice and friendly and drove smoothly. I would recommend this tour for any solo travelers looking to avoid the hassle of getting to Qinghai Lake on your own.

M28***77The animals are good, the staff is hard enough, but the traffic is too large, the parking space is too small, I don’t know why, there is a school not far away, but the government has no temporary requisition. If you can temporarily requisition it, you can definitely solve many problems, especially the tourist bus.

M24***ohAs the dividing line between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau, Sun Moon Mountain attracts tourists with the dual charm of natural wonder and humanistic heritage. The landscape on both sides of the mountain is different: the eastern side of the water valley, the moliang field, the west side of the Qinghai Lakeside grassland is vast, forming a magnificent picture of the "East look at the Wuyuan Canyon, the west side Qinghai Lake". Legend has it that the Chinese princess broke the sun and moon treasure mirror here, and the sun and moon double pavilion and memorial hall in the mountains carry the historical memory of Han and Tibetans and pro-Chinese. The ancient Tangyu Road and Princess Spring in the scenic area have been linked to thousands of years, and the mountain road and colorful stone carvings show the essence of Tibetan culture. In summer, the grassland is full of flowers, and in winter, the silver is wrapped in plain clothes. You can experience outdoor projects such as hiking and yak riding in all seasons. As a key cultural relics protection unit in the country, Riyue Mountain has become an important window for visiting Qinghai-Tibet culture with a high reputation scored by 4.6.

BirdjourneyjourneysI recently visited the Plateau Peatl sightseeing tower, and the views were absolutely breathtaking 🤩! From the top, I could see the entire city of Xining, Qinghai, stretching out before me like a vibrant tapestry. Reaching the tower was a bit of a journey, but it was completely worth the effort 🚖. The panoramic views from the highest point provided a unique perspective on the city's layout and surrounding landscapes. I highly recommend adding this spot to your itinerary if you're ever in the area! 🏞️ #XiningAdventures #PlateauPeatl #QinghaiTourism #CityViews #TravelGoals #ScenicSpot

lingliziTo go to a city, first interview the museum. Qinghai Provincial Museum is located in Xining City, is the largest comprehensive museum in Qinghai Province, a national-level museum. The museum has more than 100,000 cultural relics, covering prehistoric pottery, bronzeware, Tibetan Buddhist art, ethnic folk cultural relics, etc., especially the Neolithic Majiayao culture pottery, Han Dynasty "wolf and cattle" gold medal decorations. The exhibition is based on the "Qinghai Historical Cultural Relics Exhibition" and "Qinghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition", and systematically displays the historical context and multi-ethnic characteristics of Qinghai's multicultural blend. The architecture integrates modern and regional styles and is an important window to understand Qinghai's history and culture. Free open.

alessiainchinaWe came back to the Mosque twice, as first time we left with a sort of disappointment. The place, people and atmosphere are special, however the architecture is not as impressive. What is truly impressive is the Muslim district overall, especially the market. We bought fruit and bread and enjoyed lunch at one of the stalls, sharing a table with another local family. Everything was beyond imagination: colors, smells, tastes… A festival for the senses and the heart!Mosque: 3/5⭐️⭐️⭐️Market/atmosphere/people: 6/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

盛夏的清凉The ancient city of Danggar is located on the road from Xining to Qinghai Lake, making it a worthwhile stop. It's small and has been beautifully restored. Besides shops, it houses a Confucian temple, a memorial hall for local poets, and a church. Because it's relatively unknown, it doesn't attract many visitors.
