_FB***60The driver was punctual, calling and texting the night before to confirm. Because it was the off-season, I was the only customer today. They all departed on time and didn't solicit passengers on the street or cancel their trips. The route was direct, taking about 2.5 hours. The price was also cheaper than other travel agencies. Highly recommended. Also, Xiaoxitian is definitely worth visiting; the five-hour round trip is well worth it.

Rainbow HuiI was originally torn between joining a group tour or chartering a car. The former offered a guide who could explain the route, rather than just visiting the area. Luckily, I chose this tour. Guide He was incredibly helpful and professional. He explained the scenery along the way and, at the most important sights, he also allowed us ample time for photos.

Take the Jingjiao bus to Yushugou, which is the essence of the attraction, known as the "photographer's paradise"; then go to Longbagou to experience the thrilling canyon adventure; Finally, go to Mudangou to enjoy the natural picture of red sandstone, moss and lichen symbiosis. - Two-day tour in depth: on the first day, Yushugou + Crescent Valley, stroll through it to enjoy the canyon scenery. OtautahianI visited Wave Valley using the 'Round-trip Shuttle Bus to Wave Valley' option on the Trip.com app, as a found it difficult to find a shuttle from Yulin (IMPORTANT NOTE: The price quoted for this trip is leaving from Yan'an, buuuuuut when the tour company contacted me they told me they also had a car in Yulin, the price was just a bit higher). My driver arrived ten minutes prior to our departure time, abd the drive there and back was smooth and relaxed. Wave valley itself is larger than I thought, and so spent a happy three hours walking around and taking countless photos. The rock forms and colours are truly magnificent, and on my visit (August 14) there were some small wildflowers in bloom scattered about. The glass bridge costs extra and is interesting enough, but honestly I was more impressed with it after I was down on the valley floor and looking up at it - at that point I fully appreciated its incline and length. The cracking glass sound effect was scary at first, then fun.

206***26Come to Pingyao, in addition to Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple, the Wangjia Courtyard is worth a long time to visit. Jinshang Courtyard, like the garden in Jiangnan, is not only a mansion, but a three-dimensional book about the rise and fall of the family and the civilization of the region. In different times and spaces, these courtyards reflect the combination of the owner's taste, taste and lifestyle, and convey the precepts of poetry and ritual heirloom to future generations.

洪虹We took a sightseeing bus from the Lower Temple to the Upper Temple. The first thing that caught our eye upon disembarking was the shimmering glazed tiles of the Flying Rainbow Pagoda. The current pagoda was built in the sixth year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1527), and glazed tiles were added to the pagoda in the second year of the Tianqi reign of the Ming Dynasty (1622). It is the "world's tallest multicolored glazed pagoda." With Ming Dynasty blue bricks as its base, the yellow, green, and blue glazed tiles, despite centuries of weathering, remain vibrant. The 13-story octagonal pagoda gradually narrows, and the glazed components on each level are different, each layer unique, so exquisitely crafted that it's impossible to look away.

_TS***9eFascinating! Surrounded by gorges on three sides and mountains on the fourth, Zhangbi is a rather large fortress complex preserved in excellent condition. Visiting this place was not unlike seeing one of Europe's famous castles. There are also extensive underground defense tunnels, an ancient weapons museum, and a Shaolin archery exhibit to see here. About an hour's drive from Pingyao Old Town, but absolutely worth the wait!
