A great little town with a lovely river

A really nice old style town with a lovely river to walk along with the famous reflections of the Archie’s looking like some glasses. In the summer they have boat rides with tour guides as well.

Tradition and Gemuetlichkeit

The old town of Amberg is packed with history, So is the area around the Stadtbrille... We were there in winter, but I will return in spring/summer. This area must be even better when it is warm

It's a nice tiny part of the Old City in Amberg. Nothing really special, but worth visiting when in Old City part.

Als Wahrzeichen der Stadt stellt die „Stadtbrille“ ein beliebtes Fotomotiv dar. Der „Gang über die Vils“ wurde erstmals 1454 urkundlich erwähnt und hat seitdem nichts an Charme verloren.
