Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon A-line Strategy, a stunning treasure~
The natural scenery of Zhangjiajie is very charming. In addition to visiting Tianmen Mountain and the Forest Park when traveling to Zhangjiajie, you definitely should not miss the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Even the locals say it's worth it ~
Although the A-line of the Grand Canyon is now a free route, the scenery along the way is really amazing~
To get to the Grand Canyon from Zhangjiajie city, you can choose to take a direct bus to the Grand Canyon at the bus station, which costs 22 yuan per person and takes about an hour and a half to reach the Grand Canyon Tourist Service Center. There are free buses here that go directly to the top of the mountain.
Starting from the top of the mountain, the path is all stairs leading into the canyon. The first scenic spot that catches your eye is the 'One-Line-Sky', where the natural scenery is very beautiful, and you can see the contrasting light and dark mountain landscapes~
The descent to the bottom of the canyon is all stairs, and as you walk, you may start to feel a bit weak in the legs. However, the scenery on the opposite mountain is really beautiful, and even I, who am afraid of heights, have overcome it to enjoy the view!
It takes about ten minutes to walk down the stairs, and if you want to enjoy the thrill of speed, you can also take the slide.
The water of Rainbow Lake is really very blue, and it was my first time seeing such blue water, I couldn't help but scream!! The lake water, the boats, and the mountain waterfalls cascading down, it's like a landscape painting on paper coming to life right before your eyes. The beauty is visible to the naked eye, and the camera can't fully capture it! Taking photos by the lake is very photogenic, and the perfect angle is right in front of the waterfall, with the waterfall, lake water, and the passing boats intertwined together, it's really very artistic
Continuing forward, deeper into the canyon, the landscape along the way is beautiful, with sheer rock faces. Walking on the road, you can clearly hear the crisp sound of running water, the chirping of birds, and the rustling sound of the wind blowing through your hair. Breathing in the fresh air and looking at the natural beauty is really enjoyable~
The path in the canyon is very gentle. Being in the canyon and strolling along the stream, you feel the charm of nature. The long and narrow canyon has different scenery on both sides. Walking in different places gives you different feelings.
The most surprising thing for me was encountering a wooden boat in the lake. The boat was moored in the water, filled with water inside, and the sunlight reflected off the water's surface, making it shimmer. The wooden boat gently swayed in the water, accompanied by the shadows of trees and the reflection of the mountains, which was especially poetic~
We left around four o'clock in the afternoon, and you can reach the shore by taking the free boat on Shenquan Lake. The boat moves slowly on the lake, the sunlight glitters on the emerald water, the mountains on both sides are lush and steep, warm patches of light fall on your hands, and in the process of enjoying with closed eyes, the moment you reach the shore, there is a sense of destiny like 'the light boat has already passed through thousands of mountains'
Touring the canyon is both comfortable and pleasant, purely enjoying the scenery of the canyon, and an immersive experience of outdoor activities. The valley echoes, returning to nature, searching for that peace in your heart. Outdoor travel + a relaxed travel experience, very suitable for someone like me who is an INFP. I really love the scenery of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon A-line
Spectacular place, many walks and sights. Lots of wild monkeys, but I saw a park ranger firing the slingshot at the monkeys.... Animal cruelty is a great way to Marr the experience.
The Glass Bridge is quite fun and I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the canyon. It’s a nice site to visit if you have a lot of time in Zhangjiajie but tbh not a must.
what a beautiful walk allll along the river. It’s is so nice and peaceful. there is also a huge glass bridge and a zip line above the canyon which is good fun
Zhangjiajie sells a 3-day pass that you can buy a the entrance, I only used 2 of the 3 days. There are buses that take you around and you can do some hikes too, also there are cable cars and an elevator that you have to pay extra for.Go in April- June before it gets too hot.
Worth the visit. There wasn’t many people when I went so it was a smooth journey. Everything was quick. Grand Canyon is fun, need to buy the zipline/slide tickets separately. There are many tour agents in the area that can help you purchase tickets as well for a cheaper price.
Such a nice experience. Walk on the glass, then took the elevator 2 times, the tobogan, walking 3km and taking the boat. Not too crowded and amazing scenary. I
If you like exciting activities, this is the right choice. Most especially the glass bridge, but it was very foggy on the day, so you can't see the scenery clearly. In addition, if you go to the Grand Canyon, you don’t need to queue for a long dragon to go to Zhangjiajie’s Bailong ladder, because there is also a free sightseeing elevator here. I personally feel that it is better than Zhangjiajie’s Bailong ladder. In addition, you don’t need to queue for an hour and a half.
I was amazed by the view
