Taking advantage of the imminent closure of the Little Prince Museum, I rushed to the beginning of March. There are different special areas in the park showing the scenes that have appeared in the little prince. There are also exhibition areas that explain the life of the little prince's author. You can mark the special seal of the brochure attached to each exhibition area for the memorial. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and even raining when it arrived.
The Little Prince Museum is also a venue worth visiting here. This museum is a very fashionable art form. The streets and city tours are free. Many local Japanese artists work here to create and live.
Come to Hakone to see! The museum has multiple punch-in locations, and introduced the author and story of the little prince in detail, very beautiful!
A little bit of France in the heart of Japan! The museum is well worth a visit just to admire the recreation of French architecture and culture. If you're a Antoine De Saint-Exupery fan, this should be on your "must see" list. The museum contains a number of artifacts from the author and it is really well presented (although descriptions are in Japanese only). Make sure to stop in the cafe for some cute desserts!
One of the sweetest places ever, so sincere and thoughtful. Plus informative, well kept, beautiful grounds, worth an excursion. They go all out here to bring things to life. The docent tours are wonderful, even if you don't speak Japanese. It's mostly a tribute to how the sad adventurous life of the book's author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, led him to write one of the world's great parables. An inspiration whether you grew up with the book or you've never heard of it.
The entrance fee is 1600¥ and the tour is quite fast. I like the book but the museum is more about learning about Saint Exupery's life and having nice place to take pictures. the decor looks like old "France" but you can tell it needs a bit of renewal. you can get discounts with Hakone Pass or if you buy multiple tickets to other museum in Hakone.
