nice minaret
when you walk at Imam Ali square you can see a tall minaret which belongs to Ali mosque. this mosque is not an eye-catching building so just to see the minaret is enough.
A rare survival
The minaret dates to the end of the C11th and is one of rare surviving Seljuk monuments in the city. It is 160 feet tall and the crumbled top has been restored.

Ali Mosque Minaret is a quite beautiful construction definitely worth a visit, especially as it is in a central location.
On the Old square
Esfahan has two great squares. Most of the people know Naqsh-e Jahan but this minaret is located on the Atigh or Kohneh (Old) square. It is also very big and beautiful.
