There was a replica of "Naoe-jo" that Kanetsugu Naoe sent to Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Senbuchi Park is located at the foot of Mt. Sakado, where Sakado Castle, where Kagekatsu Uesugi and Kanetsugu Naoe spent their childhood, was built. On the national highway side of the park, there was the Kanetsugu Naoe Kodenseikan. The building is based on the image of the birthplace of Kanetsugu Naoe, and it seems that an old folk house that existed in Minamiuonuma city was relocated. Household goods and documents that can be seen in the life of those days, including armor and spears, were exhibited, but what was interesting was that Kanetsugu, who was called "Naoe-jo," sent to Ieyasu Tokugawa ...

About 20 minutes walk from Mukkamachi Station. Located in Senbuchi Park. Admission is 300 yen. The building is a relocated old folk house in the city that has been built for more than 200 years, and there are only two exhibition rooms. In the room facing the dirt floor, there is a panel commentary on Kanetsugu Naoe, kagekatsu Uesugi, Masakage Nagao, and Naoyori Hori (the last Lord of Sakado Castle), which are related to Sakado Castle, and in the back room, there is a "Naoe-jo" (replica), Helmets, military distribution, military fans, etc., which are said to be Kanetsugu's, are on display. Although the number of exhibits is small, it is one of the few sightseeing sports around Rokukamachi Station ...
Looking up at Mt. Sakado from this place, you can see that Sakado Castle was intact. The castle seems to have been in the back of the peak seen from the foot of the mountain, and the diorama in the building tells us that he usually lived at the foot. When I visited in late April, the cherry blossoms in front of Denzekan are still in bloom, and there is still snow in the next Senbuchi Park, which tells us the depth of snow in this land.
