It's pretty in Taronga Zoo! You can spend your whole day there if it's a pleasant weather. When I went there it was hot, so I managed to go around within 3 to 4 hours. Zoo is approachable by ferry from Circular Quay. I booked from trip.com where you can straightaway show your booking at the entrance, doesn't need to go other place for ticket collection.
The park is large and has many varieties. It took about 4 hours to roam the entire park. It is unknown whether the weather is too comfortable, most animals are not very active and sleepy, so it is difficult to watch up close. But it is worth seeing them enjoying the sun and breeze.
A very large zoo, many animals to see. Be prepared to walk a lot and spend your whole day. Free flight birds show was good as we got to see the birds perform with the view of the harbour bridge and the opera house. Sometimes animals hide but the are more active during keeper talks so make sure you check the schedule at the entrance. Also, don't miss the scenery on the ferry to the zoo.
In QVB, take the bus directly to Taronga Zoo. The environment in the park is very good. There are many tourists but not crowded. The koalas are so cute. The giraffes are very cute. It is just built according to the terrain. You have to walk more ramps and reserve your physical strength.
If you are considering visiting Sydney, I recommend a trip to Taronga Zoo. Take your time to leisurely explore the zoo, ensuring to catch all of the scheduled shows. I suggest taking bus 100 to get there and returning by boat. I found the bus fare to be reasonable at just AUD 1.The animal exhibits are truly remarkable, with some allowing for close interaction. Additionally, from the northern side of the zoo, you can capture stunning views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. For your convenience and to save on costs, I advise purchasing tickets through trip.com. Simply present your email confirmation at the entry gate for easy access.
