A beautiful place to look at in order to have a quick glance at rich chinese heritage. Chronological evolution of pottery is also marvelous.Lot of learning for students of history.
The largest museum in China is very large. There are more than 400,000 exhibits. There are live performances. There are antique streets. There are gift shops, cafes, etc.. It is best to plan the itinerary in advance.
This museum has a massive numbers of artefact. You can explore alone but a guide will definitely help.
