The splendid pavilion in Nanjing, known as one of the four famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River
Yuejiang Tower, located on the summit of Lion Mountain and the banks of the Yangtze River in Nanjing, was intended to be built by the founder of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, but was not completed, with only the foundation of Yuejiang Tower being constructed before work stopped. It was not until six hundred years later that it was finally completed. It is famous for the 'Record of Yuejiang Tower' written by the early Ming literati Song Lian, and is one of China's top ten historic and cultural famous towers, also known as 'the number one tower in the south of the Yangtze River'.
From the top of Yuejiang Tower, one can have a distant view of the main city of Nanjing, overlook the Yangtze River, see the famous Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and its bridgehead fortress, and even take photos of trains crossing the river.
Now, to ascend Yuejiang Tower, there is no need to climb the mountain. By purchasing an elevator ticket, visitors can take an escalator directly to the top of the mountain. Standing still on the way up, one can enjoy the mountain scenery, which is particularly comfortable and pleasant.
On the third floor of Yuejiang Tower, there is a giant porcelain painting named 'Zheng He's Voyages to the Western Seas'. The painting is 12.8 meters high and 8 meters wide, and is the largest Jingdezhen porcelain painting in China. It reflects the history of Zheng He's seven voyages to the Western Seas from 1405 to 1433. The painting is composed of 12 sections, detailing the navigator Zheng He's construction of treasure ships according to the orders of Emperor Yongle, his pilgrimage to the holy land in Arabia, and his promotion of Chinese civilization and commodity trade in various countries of the Western Seas, depicting the historical scenes of Zheng He's voyages in a panoramic style.

Although it is an artificial antique building, the first time I saw Yuejiang Building, I was attracted by the eyes. I saw that I had to go to the sunset in the afternoon, but the arranged time was not allowed. Unexpectedly, there are really not many people here. Compared with other scenic spots, the furnishings here are empty. Come here to finish all the city walls, catch the Jinghai Temple and Tianfei Temple under the itinerary did not go to see, maybe the Dizang Temple is really too plain, it affects the interest of me to read. The view of the ascending is really good, but unfortunately, all the modern buildings are modern buildings, and there are many high-rise buildings. I stand here and I am left in place to pursue the past that no longer exists. It is a dream lost in the torrent of history.
Beautiful place! Make sure to bring water, there are a lot of stairs before arriving to the top of the lion hill
Booked a day trip to Tianluokeng in Yunshuiyao ➕. The online customer service has been online, very enthusiastic, responded quickly, and had a good attitude. The guide contacted us very early the day before, reminded us of the precautions, and booked the pick-up time. The guide on the road is very stable, the technology is very good, and has been chatting with us, very enthusiastic. The guide car brought a very complete equipment, from band-aid to mineral water, the service is very thoughtful. The guide's knowledge is also very wide, introducing us to local folk customs, characteristics, etc., and recommending some quiet and scenic spots, avoiding business districts and crowded places, making the tour more interesting. The guide will also help us find a place to take pictures at an angle, and also help us take some photos. The photo technology is very good. All in all, the service is very intimate! This time I walked into the earth building, it was like crossing the tunnel of time and space. The simple architectural style and quiet and peaceful atmosphere made people involuntarily intoxicated. Those traditional crafts such as stone carvings, wood carvings and mud-plastics embedded in the earth building explained the infinite charm of folk art. Nanjing Tulou is very spectacular, the environment is clean and the humanities are rich, accompanied by the blooming lotus, the scenery is excellent, it is worth seeing. There are long ancient roads, century-old dragonflies, magical earth buildings and Lingshan clear water in the water ballad, giving people a sense of extraordinary and vulgarity. We like the experience of this day trip very much. The whole trip is very good. In short, the order is very cost-effective and exceeds expectations. Thank you very much for the travel agency this time to arrange such a caring guide for us and give us a pleasant travel experience! Fujian is beautiful and the guide is very good!
Yuejang Lou is at the top the Lion Hillis, the tower is 52 meters high and has a floor area of more than 5,000 square meters. The tower is beautiful and after climbing up Yuejiang Tower, you can get a full view of the scenes on the immense Yangtze River and the panoramic view of all the beautiful scenes of Jinling (former name of Nanjing)
Last year in the middle of November, my teemmates and I arrived in Nanjing for our school trip. It was almost lunch time as we went out of the railway station, so we took the bus to where we had lunch. For lunch, we had some local food in Nanjing. They were really delicious. In the afternoon, we went to Yuejiang Tower by bus. We walked along the path to the top of the hill. There, we can see the Yangtze River clearly. Then we got into the Yuejiang Tower. We knew a part of the history of Nanjing and Yuejiang Tower. The time visiting there was really nice. We went to Zijinshan Observatory before dinner. For dinner, we went to an restaurant, where there were a lot of local food. Of course, it was very delicious too. After these, we were going to our hotel for next three nights. The hotel was pretty good, we had a great sleep for tomorrow's trip. We really enjoyed this day a lot. What a wonderful school trip day.
Yuejiang Tower was built first time and opened to the outside world in 2001.The building is 52 m (171 ft) high, amounted to seven layers.
