When it comes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, what immediately comes to mind? “I wish it was a city I had settled in!” should be the first three, and The Met is one of the things I really envy New Yorkers. I think a museum or art gallery or two sides of the building and the collection, the Metropolitan Museum building itself is similar to some (new) classical architecture of New York built at the same time, very good, but not the place to excel (For example, compared with the Louvre or Beijing Forbidden City), but the collection is different, and I think the word "collection" in the Metropolis is not just to simply display the rich and huge objects. The Met's most powerful and most loved is the setting of the exhibition environment. Designed into a situation that can fully show the spiritual and cultural significance of the exhibits, the most famous nature is the Egyptian Pavilion, The Met's Egyptian related objects, although many, but not just put these objects into the cabinet to display, one of the area of the reconstructed temple and the statues with a wide The space of gas makes people feel "Egyptian", and the same spirit can be clearly found in the various blocks and corners of the Met, such as the Greek and Roman quarters, the Middle East region, and the fascinating armor area, especially the armor area, the museum also wonderfully equipped a column of fake medieval helmets How can a warrior (and a flying samurai flag above) be unappreciated and loved? A must-visit in New York, and I will definitely join my membership if I settle in New York.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, affectionately known as "The Met," is a treasure trove of human creativity. From ancient artifacts to modern masterpieces, its halls echo with the footsteps of art enthusiasts. Renowned collections, like the Egyptian and European art, showcase centuries of artistic evolution. A visit to The Met is a profound journey through history and imagination, making it a quintessential cultural experience in New York City.
The venue is large, covering different periods of different countries of art and crafts and other works, will definitely take a whole day to have a way to finish the exhibition.

The permanent collection includes almost all paintings and sculptures by European masters, as well as a large number of American and modern art, and a special exhibition room by era, as well as a collection of weapons and musical instruments.
One of my favorite places to visit in NYC. It is near to Centrk and Carnegie hall and has some outstanding art collections. It is transporting and beautiful. It is well laid out and definitely worth visiting several times.
