I didn't know this spot existed in North bay! I walked around. There is a 14 KM trail that goes around the lake and you have so much to look at and walk around that you don't even realize it's 14kms...

A great history lesson!
A wonderful area and portage for the whole family. An amazing experience to portage and canoe where the early explorers travelled. I loved every minute of it.
Accessible, green and of historic significance.
Great park on the lake with a very interesting historic marker. Access to both the river and the lake. At the end of a residential street so very quiet.
