The oldest fountain of the city

The origin are Etruscans, then it was used from Romans , what we can see today was done in 1309 with its seven marble masks from whose lips water gushes

Historic fountain

This fountain was built in the 1540s but many parts of it are from reused Etruscan works of art. it's a pity that there is no info at the site about its' history, so do some research beforehand.

Good for a quick walk by

I think I expected more to see so was a bit disappointed but if you are wandering around the little town it is worth a quick visit.

Interesting Fountains

I happened across this Fountain in the Piazza della Repubblica in Tuscania, and found it to be very interesting. It's cool to sit nearby on a hot August day.

A piece of history

This unusual fountain forms an interesting backdrop near to Ristorante Le Canelle. It is a lovely spot to sit and relax and contemplate the interesting heritage of Tuscania.
