The Puente de Isabel II, better known as the Puente de Triana, connects the downtown of Seville with the city of Triana. This beautiful bridge was constructed in the mid-19th century by the Spanish Queen, Isabel II, and has been designated by UNESCO as a world heritage site. I saw this bridge while on a cruise down the Guadalquivir River, and it's something I will never forget!
This bridge, also known as the Triana bridge, connects the neighbourhood of Triana with the city centre. It's a beautiful structure and is the most noteworthy bridge in Seville. It's nice to stroll across and take some good pictures of the skyline of Seville, and also offers a good viewpoint of the Torre de Oro. A great idea, if you time it right, is to cross this bridge at sunset and take in the gorgeous views over the river. It's also a lot cooler by this time so you can enjoy the views without getting sunburnt!
