An old Fortress Church

Probably one of the best sights to see in Vera and pretty much central to the town. The interior space is large and very attractive

ONE OF THE MAIN SIGHTS IN VERA

Obviously not on the level of the grand cathedrals of Spain, but quite interesting none the less. It's in the main square, so it's almost impossible to miss.

Beautiful church

Having walked by so many time, we nipped in to have a look. Well worth a visit, the inside is huge, very deceptive and it's beautifully decorated.

An interesting fortress church

This church is on the main square in Vera. It is an excellent example of a fortress church where the few windows are very small and set high in the building to fend off attacks. It is a lovely church....

Peaceful and interesting

Good to get away from the crowds and take in some local history. Very interesting and peaceful and beautiful.
