The Berlin TV Tower is located between Alexandria Square and Republic Square in the centre of Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. Built from August 1965 to October 1969, a group of renowned architects in Germany participated in the design, and more than 300 enterprises participated in the construction or provided materials and equipment. The TV tower is 368 meters tall, ranking first in the country, 45 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris, 24 meters in diameter and surrounded by 60 non-refracting glass windows.
