Hangu Pass is one of the earliest strongholds of Xiongguan in Chinese history. It is located in Wangduo Village, 15 kilometers north of Lingbao City, Henan Province. It is about 75 kilometers away from Sanmenxia City. It is located in "Liangjing Ancient Road" (Chang'an, Luoyang). It is close to the Bank of the Yellow River. It is called Hangu Pass because it is confined in the valley and dangerous as letters. Liu Bang's defense against Xiang Yu, "the Anshi Rebellion" the Tang Army and the rebels "the Taolin War" and the "Hanguguan War" between the Chinese Army and the Japanese aggressor army in 1944 were all carried out here. Tickets are slightly expensive, plus the battery fare totals 100 yuan.
