Spent the day on bass harbor. Minutes from the lighthouse, you will find this easy hike. Spent an hour+ cruising around and looking at the beautiful scenery.

Part of Acadia National Park, it is not far from Wonderland, another hike down to the ocean shore. Ship Harbor is more wooded. I have done both of these many dozens of times in my life as my family ...

This is an excellent trail for casual hikers, kids, and those wanting to see beautiful views. On the quiet side of the island, there is ample parking as this area is seldom busy. The 1.5 loop trail ...
