When I visited Novgorod I sterted from IT. The staff was friendly and helpful. I bought some souvenirs and maps, books and CDs

Amazing, but nobody was speaking English and the information material was not really helpful. There is some room for improvement.

Excellent centre with lots of information on the city and the area including day-trips and excursions. Friendly service and clear fact sheets.

Helpful and welcoming
The information center has nice staff that is always ready to help. The place is right next to Novgorod's main attraction - Kremlin, which is another good thing.
