I booked an Executive King Room for two nights and got upgraded to a Deluxe Suite. The staff called me before, during, and after my stay to check in, but it just so happened that all three times I wasn't available to talk. The last time, I was at the high-speed rail station checking my ticket, and it was so noisy I could barely hear 80% of what the concierge was saying, so I just kept nodding along, haha. It was a double holiday, so of course, it was crowded. They seemed a bit short-staffed, but you could tell they were trying their best. At breakfast, they prioritized serving the larger tables. As a solo diner, I felt a bit neglected, sitting in a remote corner where no servers ever passed by, qaqa. Oh well, I guess it's understandable. The lounge service, however, was excellent. They made me my favorite Whiskey Sour, which was delicious. When I mentioned I wanted to switch to a latex pillow before leaving, it arrived in my room shortly after – and the coffee was the best I've had in any hotel lounge!

I booked a single room, and although it was a bit compact, I had a very comfortable stay. The only drawback was that hairdryers had to be borrowed from the front desk. If you needed one right after a shower and they were all out, you'd often have to wait, as some guests would keep them for over twenty minutes. I suggest the hotel install fixed (wall-mounted or tethered) hairdryers in the bathrooms to prevent theft and long queues. Alternatively, requiring a room key card to activate them could be considered. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Summary: Honestly, the experience was just okay. The location is great, right in Sanlitun Soho, but I'd still choose another hotel nearby next time. Chronological account: - Check-in I was assigned a room very close to the entrance. When I later inquired at the front desk, they thankfully moved me to a room further inside, which also felt slightly larger and had a glass door for the shower (the original room didn't, and showering would have splashed water everywhere). But my question is, why was I initially assigned a comparatively inferior room when other options were available? Rooms near the entrance are high-traffic areas for all guests, and with poor soundproofing, it's very noisy and feels like there's no privacy. Also, if the photos on the platform aren't actual representations (referring to clearly much larger rooms), it's best not to use them as they can be misleading. - At check-in, I mentioned a friend would arrive later and pick up a room key at the front desk. However, I constantly felt scrutinized. After checking in, I went downstairs for a meal. When I returned and entered my room, someone followed me, knocked, and asked to see who was in the room. Do all guests get chased down like this? - The cleaning staff (Auntie) was very good, very enthusiastic, no issues there. - Returning after going out in the evening As I was walking down the hallway towards my room, another front desk staff member (a male employee) chased after me, shouting, 'Which room are you in?' This was very upsetting. I'm paying to stay here, and I have to be treated and questioned with that tone? Shouldn't a normal staff member at least say, 'Hello, may I ask which room you're in?' Or perhaps they should shout at everyone who walks in the front door with the same tone and manner. Wouldn't my money be better spent at another hotel? This guy clearly has no service awareness; it's ridiculous. - My friend arrived late and picked up a key at the front desk without issues. However, I later found out the front desk asked him for a deposit? I had already checked in, so what's the point of another deposit? That's odd. I just checked, and the platform explicitly states no deposit is required (see image, it says 'no deposit needed'). Very strange. - The faucet in our room's sink initially released water with a very strong metallic taste. The first time, I didn't know and thought I'd touched something after washing my hands. When it happened again, I realized it was the water. You have to let it run for a while for the taste to disappear, I don't know if it's a pipe issue. I suggest putting up a warning sign, otherwise, it would be disgusting if someone used that water to brush their teeth or wash their face. - There's a washing machine and a dryer, but I ran the dryer three times (20 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes) and my clothes still weren't dry. I guess I don't know how to use it 😂. - Similarly, I might not know how to use the TV. I tried to turn it on, but there was only static. - Otherwise, the room itself was fine, including cleanliness and so on. It was just these few points that negatively impacted our stay.

Our stay was great. The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very welcoming and provided excellent, thoughtful service. The housekeeping staff were also very polite. The room's cleanliness and facilities were good. Personally, since this trip was long and I had a lot of luggage, I felt there wasn't quite enough space for suitcases and hanging clothes. There's a laundry room, which was very clean. The gym had enough equipment. The stationary bike was a bit wobbly, which didn't affect the workout but did impact the experience – it should be adjusted. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to transportation, dining, and shopping.

We were very lucky to be greeted by Ms. 皇文萍 at the front desk when we first arrived. She was extremely nice and helpful, and her excellent customer service really made a difference in our stay. I would like to sincerely compliment her professionalism and warm attitude. Honestly, if not for Ms. 皇文萍’s effort, my rating would not be 5/5 for services, as the service from other front desk staff did not meet expectations. The hotel’s air-conditioning is excellent — even during the cold weather, they still provide the option to use it, which is very thoughtful. The location is also great, being close to shopping districts and cafes. However, there are a few areas that need improvement: The soundproofing in the rooms is poor. The washing machine facilities are insufficient. We had a very unpleasant experience when someone terminated our wash cycle, removed our clothes, and used the machine themselves. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but Ms. 皇文萍’s outstanding service truly stood out and deserves recognition.

I booked a 3-night stay from August 2nd to 5th. While I was still on the high-speed train, the front desk called me to inquire about my estimated arrival time, ensuring my room would be held. This was a first for me, and quite a pleasant surprise. The two rooms we booked were different sizes; our room (328) was a bit on the smaller side, whereas my parents' room (336) was slightly larger. Nevertheless, the service was consistently excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, and any requests for water or drinks were handled very promptly. On the second day, they even asked if we'd like our room cleaned before we left, which we appreciated as it showed great respect for our privacy. Breakfast offered a different selection each of the three days we stayed. The second-floor restaurant itself was a little small, and the variety of food was somewhat limited, but the quality and taste were quite good. Upon check-out, I realized I had left my power bank behind. The front desk promptly called me to inform me and offered to mail it to my address. This truly exemplifies their excellent service and thoughtful approach.

The small courtyard is very clean. The living room and corridors of the house are also very clean. The furniture and appliances in the guest rooms are not very new but they are complete. The sheets and quilts are not new. I found a small piece of white plastic strips from under the quilt and dirty strips. Fortunately, I brought sheets and quilts, so I made do with it all night.

Very good homestay, the room is relatively new, clean and tidy, tatami does not have to worry about the child rolling off the bed, the living is very comfortable. The food in the store is delicious, braised eggplant, pepper shredded pork, we all eat twice. The boss is super good. The child likes to eat the cucumber for breakfast in the store. On the last morning, they didn't prepare it. The child asked ”why didn't you shoot the cucumber today”. The boss asked the chef to take a picture of it. It was so thoughtful. 🥰 The location of the store is very good, very close to Tianmen Mountain, Heilongtan, there are many other scenic spots nearby, live here early in the morning, don't worry about blocking the road or no parking space. There is a river next to the store, and it should be good to take children to play in the water in summer. We stayed for three days and haven't had enough, come back next time.

There's also another Qiu Guo branch right next door, which can be a bit confusing, but the staff usually reminds you. The environment is decent. Elevators require a key card for floor access. Housekeeping service is good; they proactively ask if you need your room cleaned. The facilities are also quite decent and smart. Overall, I'd rate it a 6-7 out of 10. However, the room type I booked wasn't quite worth the price, which left me a bit disappointed.

The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping was always prompt. One day, while taking a photo with my phone, I spotted a small red dot on the shower head. (It later turned out to be a false alarm – just a water stain or a reflection from my phone camera.) The hotel staff were incredibly proactive in addressing my concern. To thoroughly reassure me, they completely disassembled the shower head. They even involved me in the process, first attempting to unscrew it, and when that failed, they promptly got a hammer and broke it open. Inside, we found nothing but some limescale. The entire resolution, from my report to its completion, took less than an hour. I am genuinely touched and extremely grateful to the front desk team for their attentive and patient assistance. This hotel is excellent! The location was amazing because it was just a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the Great Wall so you don't even need to take the shuttle bus at all! The room we stayed in was very big and spacious. The best thing about this room was the electronic mahjong table!! It was so much fun playing without having to spend time setting the tiles. We decided to stay at this hotel for 1 night and go to the great wall early in the morning @7:30 before it gets too crowded. Oh boy, did we make the right choice. We went through the entrance without having to wait. Walking on great wall with only few people was wonderful and we were able to take many great photos without having tons of people in the background. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel.

The friendly front desk staff upgraded me to a room with a window! The room was spotless and smelled fresh. The bedding was excellent; I slept soundly through the night and woke up feeling completely refreshed. The shampoo and conditioner smelled lovely and worked really well; I only wish I knew the brand! The housekeeper on my floor was also exceptionally helpful. She proactively asked if I needed my room cleaned, and even when I declined, she still made sure to replenish the water, coffee, toiletries, and tissues. The location was also great, very convenient for attending concerts at the Bird's Nest stadium. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby!
