When I first saw the hotel building from afar, I was a bit taken aback – it's so flashy, haha. Next to the hotel, there's a small night market-like cluster of stalls where you can find food and various other things to browse. The room was very new, and the facilities were top-notch. I had read reviews before coming that the new hotel next door in the same building was undergoing renovations and would be noisy, and that was indeed the case. The renovations went on until almost 10 PM. However, the soundproofing of the room windows was decent; I closed the windows and it was acceptable. I imagine the hotel must be quite frustrated, as it's not their own renovations, making it difficult to control. They even placed an explanation and 3M earplugs on the desk in the room. Breakfast was quite good, with Sichuan pepper chicken and pilaf available. I guess the hotel next door will be done with renovations by my next visit, and I'd still stay here.

Overall this hotel is good 👍🏼 I requested the beautiful lady on counter for top most floor room! She smiled and allot me 803 a pink room and the view was good. I think if you want to explore Grand bazar and nearby areas for a day or two this is idle location to live in. There are plenty of fruit, grocery and restaurant around here. The hotel infrastructure is classic but overall it’s good 👍🏼 I like the bed 🛌 was very comfortable. There was no sound problem inside room! However, because corridor is narrow and when people passing through they make noise till they took elevator. We all know people here bit noisy even if they talking normal it looks like screaming. Others I didn’t find any trouble regarding living in this hotel. I think it is a good place for 2 to 3 nights stay.

We paid 234 per night in early September. The hotel didn't quite feel like a proper hotel, especially with our street-facing room. The first-floor restaurant and elevators were perpetually crowded. The second and third floors seemed to be popular venues for local weddings and gatherings, which was quite interesting. My biggest complaint was about the complimentary water. We were supposed to get two bottles a day, so for our two-night stay, we should have received four. However, after consuming those, they refused to provide more, claiming they had run out. It's quite disheartening that a hotel of this size and supposed reputation would disappoint guests over just two bottles of mineral water. We often shop until late and sleep in, but even by 2 PM, our room hadn't been cleaned. There was no toilet paper or trash bags, which was truly unacceptable. The service was completely lacking; there were even stickers from a previous guest's wedding still stuck to our door. The only positive was the polite attendant at the entrance who directed parking and held doors open. On the other hand, it was incredibly frustrating that the front desk was consistently unattended whenever we needed assistance.

Recommended for the location in the middle of the bazaar and beside a metro stop, but the room is very small and the hot water can be unreliable. Be aware that you need to pass security to enter the bazaar, and by extension also the hotel. Would recommend it to independent travellers that plan to spend most of their time out and about.

The room's ethnic style perfectly matched our expectations and imagination for our first trip to Xinjiang. We were extremely satisfied. The receptionist was also very friendly and spoke fluent Mandarin. The hotel's location is superb, right across from the International Grand Bazaar pedestrian street and next to the Grand Bazaar food street, saving us the hassle of taking a taxi. We can enjoy some of Urumqi's most must-see spots right outside our door! (Areas for improvement: adding a shower screen or curtain would be safer, or adding a non-slip mat to the shower area. The hairdryer needs replacing!) These minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience. If I have the chance to come to Urumqi again, I will definitely stay here again.

I chose this hotel specifically because it offered a late checkout at 4 PM for Ctrip bookings, which was perfect for my afternoon flight. But when I checked in, the front desk told me their system only showed 2 PM. I suggested she contact Ctrip, and she just repeated that their system showed 2 PM, then begrudgingly said, ”Fine, we'll give you 4 PM checkout.” It felt like they were doing me a favor for something I was entitled to. Later, I even had Ctrip confirm the 4 PM checkout with the front desk. Yet, the next day, a little after 1 PM, I received a call asking if I was checking out or extending my stay. I told them I had a 4 PM checkout, and the front desk again said their system showed 2 PM. There's clearly no handover of information, and they don't even seem aware of their own promotions or those of the group. If it weren't for the late checkout, I wouldn't have stayed here; even food delivery options are limited. Also, I booked my room far in advance, only to see the hotel drop its prices significantly closer to my stay, so I re-booked. Their pricing system is equally unprofessional. I advise everyone to compare prices when booking.

We stay at Conrad Urumqi for 2 nights, eventhough the room on the 1st night was very hot but Nina went above and beyond to change the room at midnight for us, 1st appreciation. On the way to live in Sailimu Lake, the driving son suddenly remembered that the watch may have fallen in the hotel. I immediately contacted the hotel front desk. After the front desk listened, I immediately contacted the cleaning staff and responded to me as soon as possible. The watch was kept at the front desk. Welcome to pick it up at any time. Our hanging heart finally fell. This is the gift my son bought for himself when he traveled abroad through Singapore. Although not very expensive, it was significant. On October 9, we returned to Urumqi and successfully retrieved our watch. Due to the rush of time (catching the plane), I forgot to ask the name of the front desk staff, but I clearly remembered the appearance of the front desk brother. I hope the hotel will praise the front desk lady on October 6 and the front desk brother on October 9. They want customers to be in front, considerate for customers, serve customers wholeheartedly, and truly put the hotel's service concept into practice. The two-day stay experience made me feel the warmth of home, the hotel's sanitary environment is very nice, and the hotel's dining is also very good! Thanks again to the all-season hotel.
