The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. You can take the elevator down to the LL floor, turn left out the door, and you're directly at Lotte Duty Free. Myeongdong shopping street is just across the road, and subway access is very easy with multiple exits nearby. There's even a 7-Eleven conveniently located right by the entrance. However, considering the service, facilities, and overall amenities, the price is genuinely expensive and frankly, not worth it. A Westin in a major Chinese city, offering better and newer facilities in every aspect, would only cost a little over 1000 RMB. For this price point, back home (in China), you could easily stay at a Ritz-Carlton. It's definitely not good value! It really highlights how high the cost of living is in Korea!

This hotel was great in every aspect. The lighting, air conditioning, and other features in the room were all controlled by a smart pad next to the bed, which was pretty cool. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Lotte Department Store, and Myeongdong shopping street is also nearby. Deoksugung Palace is across the street, so you can walk there, and Gyeongbokgung Palace isn't too far either, about 1km away, also within walking distance. A heads-up: Korean hotels typically don't provide complimentary toothbrushes. They're usually found in the paid minibar area and cost an additional 1100 won, which is quite different from what you'd find in China.

Stayed for three nights. The room was excellent and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant service was superb, and room service was also very good. The only truly appalling experience was at the nail bar on the 10th floor. I went there at 5 PM to book a manicure and facial, but the receptionist didn't even bother to glance at the screen. Before I had even finished speaking, she immediately told me they were fully booked for the day. When I asked about tomorrow's availability, she again didn't consult the screen or any appointment book, and instantly replied that nothing was available until after 12:50 PM the next day. If she had simply taken a moment to check a computer or an appointment schedule, I would have found her response more credible. An establishment like this has no place in a Four Seasons hotel; it genuinely tarnishes the hotel's brand and reputation. It was utterly disgusting.

This city view is a must see when in Seoul! We skipped climbing the Seoul Tower coz with this view we have seen it all. The recently renovated rooms and suites invoke a new standard of luxury coupled with the unparalleled convenience of being just minutes from downtown Seoul, Myeongdong and Itaewon. Our room was located on the third floor but because of the hotel's high location we were able to enjoy the wonderful view from there.

My stay at the New Seoul Hotel was excellent. The gentlemen on reception helped me order a taxi and explained how to use the metro. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, right by city hall. There are 3 metro stations within a 3 minute walk away. It’s easy to walk around the area too. I ended up coming back to Seoul and stayed at the New Seoul Hotel again. Thank you.

For the price I paid and its central location to Myeongdong shopping center, I would say it was very affordable compared to other locations. I was more interested in a location was able to accommodate my big family of 11 and 3 rental cars and this was the only affordable location that offered a 5 room package. I wished it had more amenities such as a fridge in the room but it only came with a hot water pot. With the hotel also being used as a mall parking lot the elevators were very busy which was big hassle and a long wait everytime we had to use it. But the view to Seoul Tower was a plus.

Environment: The location is excellent. It's just 20 meters straight ahead from Myeongdong Subway Exit 10. The airport bus stop is only 50 meters away, Myeongdong is right behind the hotel, and the North Face building and Daiso are across the street. Service: It was just average, I didn't really experience any special service. The hotel requires check-in at 3 PM, and they stored my luggage for me. There's a self-check-in machine at the front desk, which was quite convenient and available in Chinese. Facilities: It's definitely an older hotel. You absolutely need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as the hotel doesn't provide them. They cost ₩1000 if you need to buy them.

This hotel comes with very distinct pros and cons. As a family traveling with two adults and one child, considering our specific needs and budget, Korenahotel was our best option. Since we were traveling in summer and had visited Korea multiple times, our main purpose this trip was to relax and dip our feet in Cheonggyecheon Stream. From our hotel window, we could see a large conch sculpture, which marks one of the stream's starting points. Unfortunately, it rained on our first day in Seoul, and Cheonggyecheon was temporarily closed, though it reopened the next day. There was also the Newseoul Hotel as an alternative in this location, but its price had shot up to 2k a night during our stay. Pros: 1. Excellent location. Turning left out of the hotel, it's a ten-minute walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace and fifteen minutes to Insadong, from where you can easily walk to Myeongdong. (A slight drawback related to this superb location is that roads can be closed for weekend protests/parades. We departed at 8:30 AM on Sunday to avoid these closures and reached the airport in forty minutes, which left us ample time for shopping and dining.) 2. We booked a deluxe twin room, which came with two 1.5-meter wide beds, a sofa area, and a bathroom with a bathtub. You'd be hard-pressed to find another hotel online offering this combination of price and location. Even for a family of four (two adults, two children), it was spacious enough. While the kids couldn't exactly run laps indoors, we spent most of our time outdoors exploring Korea, so the room size was perfectly adequate. Cons: The facilities are quite dated. Even for non-germaphobes, the noticeable dust on the surfaces might be off-putting. The TV in my room wouldn't turn on, and one of the bedside lamps couldn't be switched off. However, we promptly reported these issues to the hotel, and the maintenance was quite timely.

There is twosome and ediya nearby too. The hotel room size is comfortable and spacious. The room has bathtubs, shower area and toilet all partition properly. The only downside is the pillows are too soft and I have to stack 3 together. The room comes with air purify and aircon is cold enough for the summer weather. Overall satisfy with the stay and will consider coming back again.

He provided us with a lot of helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area, and his service throughout our stay was exceptional – truly 5-star! The location is fantastic – just a short walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. There are also plenty of convenience stores and cafes nearby, which was super handy. We also appreciated that the airport limousine bus to Incheon Airport stops just a few minutes from the hotel – very convenient for our return trip. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with great amenities and comfortable rooms. It definitely lives up to its 5-star rating. We highly recommend this hotel to couples, families, or anyone looking for a quality stay in Seoul. We would definitely return in the future!

It's also worth noting that you can reach the famous unmanned ramen restaurant in about 10 minutes on foot – I highly recommend checking it out! For coffee lovers, Myeongdong is a coffee paradise. All in all, it's super convenient for shopping, eating, and drinking. The hotel room was spacious and very new, with several free beverages and a capsule coffee machine provided daily. The front desk staff can speak simplified Chinese, making check-in a breeze. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Myeongdong! I often travel solo, so I'll grab some fried chicken from Myeongdong, pick up some coffee or beer from the CU convenience store downstairs at the hotel, and head back to my room to enjoy it.

I was traveling alone this time. This hotel is a renovated old house, but it looked like a newly built hotel. The exterior has some traditional Korean touches. The host was very nice and even helped me carry my luggage upstairs. 💗 They seemed family-run. When I got to my room, they had already turned on the air conditioner for me. Very thoughtful. 💗 The room was clean and odorless. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for two people's luggage. 💗 When I left, they even helped me carry my luggage to the bus stop to wait for the airport shuttle. Even I tried to give google translate and ask her to speak in it she refuse. So I didn't get what I want to ask. So I just grab my key -All rooms are non-Smoking. From the website of Trip.com I clearly order Smoking rooms (Staff need to update this information) -Its stated that you can see city views from window but it doesn't (You can see pictures of neighboring building and also the window of each rooms) From these 3 points I can't give full score. Other Negatives -Room looks old -No translation of using remote, Etc (You can translate from pictures tho) -No rooms slippers -The bidets of my toilet is broken and can't be used -Does not provide bath mat Hope these long reviews help. We had a very enjoyable stay in a room facing the lake, with views of Lotte Tower, Charlotte Theater, and Lotte World. The bathroom was spacious and had both a bathtub and a shower booth, and the toilet was comfortable to use without splashing around. The facilities are a little old, but the room was cleaned every day, so we had a comfortable stay. It's also convenient for transportation, and there are many shops nearby, so we had no trouble. The hotel was also good value for money. I would like to stay again, but it seems to be popular and difficult to make a reservation. I was lucky to be able to stay this time.

We picked this place for a trip with friends, and it truly felt like a super cozy little home away from home! It was fully equipped with everything we needed: a microwave, fridge, induction hob, kettle, and all the necessary kitchenware. The cleanliness was also top-notch, with daily tidying. The TV was absolutely massive, offering a great selection of movies and TV shows. I've only used hotels or motels when I travel so far. I used No. 101, but I was worried at first because the road to enter was deep, but I went inside. The interior was clean and the room was big and cool. The interior is well cleaned and the toilet water is warm and cold water pressure is good. And we have all the basic supplies. In terms of location, this place is great! It’s close to a metro station and in a nice area! The common spaces offered are lovely, with free breakfast and an amazing rooftop view! The dorm rooms themselves are clean. However, there was a big problem with mosquitoes. I was basically eaten alive by mosquitoes every night, waking up to them buzzing in my ear. I even slept with mosquito repellent on, but it was no match for the mosquitoes. This is because many of the windows are kept open all night. While I understand bugs like mosquitoes are a normal, I’d consider closing any windows at night that would allow them to come in.

The hotel is not bad. The location is amazing, where convenient access to all public transportation. There’s subway station right next to it, less than a minute walk. There is a convenience store right across. The lunch is amazing, there’s a buffet for 10000 won. Really delicious with great service. I didn’t like the way they clean the hotel. That’s the only downside. Feels like laziness. Even some of the mirrors inside the room were with stains. The cleaning is on demand or once in 4 days. If you want you towels changed either wait for 3 days or ask for it: not that convenient.

I requested higher floor, no corner room, quiet and away from the lift. They did arrange a higher floor and no corner room but my room was right facing the lift area. Luckily it wasn't noisy. However, the walls were quite thin and I can often hear next door. Housekeeping also comes quite early and always leaves a note that they came by already by 9am (i have my room DND). There was a lot of dust on the walls (see pic). They havent wiped it down in quite a while and I saw it there constantly for the few nights i stayed. Also, on the first day all the electric sockets near the bedside didn't work. My phone didnt charge overnight and I asked them to fix it. Then for my rest of my stay, it was okay. Lastly, the amenities were VERY limited. The slippers were very thin, no toothbrush or toothpaste. I also found there were stains on some of the towels (they were definitely clean but just obvious stains). I found the pillows quite uncomfortable because I usually like harder pillows and even if i stacked 4 of them together it would become quite flat. But thats just a personal preference.

I had a lovely experience at this hostel. Easy to find and is close to everything! There is a 24 convenience store right below. The front desk area comes with free water and coffee and also other amenities such as adaptors for the plugs in Korea (as they’re different), iron, flat iron, hair dryer, microwave amongst other things. The room was very clean and the service was great. The staff is very friendly. You should dispose of your trash but that’s no issue and you can also ask for a room cleaning every couple days. The room was small but once you organise your things it’s not bad. Great hostel for the price. Would book this place again.

The accommodation is in very good condition. The bed is comfortable and clean. The building is quite old, but the interior has a completely different charm. Seoul has a humid continental climate which means four distinct seasons. The months in Spring (March to May) and Fall (September to November) are great times to explore Seoul due to the mild weather during these periods. In addition, March to May is when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. If you don’t mind the cold, Seoul can be a winter wonderland as many visitors come just to experience the snow. Summer (June to August) is hot, humid, and full of tourists. Also, the months of May to September see a lot of rain (rainy season), with July being the wettest month.Seoul is a year-round destination as each of its seasons caters to visitors’ different needs. Spring is considered the Should Season even though it is the most beautiful period with pleasant weather.
