AC is ineffective and needs re-gas. Tv not functional. Rooms appear clean but grime and dirt in corners windows etc. Internet is poor and drops out Sure this is a budget hotel but it in poor condition. Good location in Thamal road area But there is better at this price point in the area

This was a lovely hotel to stay in during our time in Kathmandu. The staff was very friendly, the lobby area was comfortable and upscale, and the rooms were large and perfect for our stay. The price was very reasonable, and it is in a great location in the heart of Thamel, but down a quiet side road which made for some peace and tranquility out of the hustle and bustle. We stayed here multiple times and were able to safely leave our luggage during our trek. Highly recommended!

A basic hotel right in the heart of Thamel. Stayed here almost a week. It’s not the newest but coming down from our trek up in the mountains, the hotel provided luxury - hot shower, airconditioning, wifi, cheap water. The staff were very attentive and great service too. Thank you for making our few days in Kathmandu homey.

I have stayed for two night in Samsara Boutique Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed and will stay in future in Kathmandu. The service is excellent, the staff is very friendly and will go extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The room is very clean and well appointed with good bed and pillows. The bathroom is decent size. The location is very good and the view from the room is the best of the best.

we have stayed at samsara boutique hotel in thamel for one night and wish we had stayed there for two. it is a wonderfully designed hotel, with a cool lobby and a rooftop garden that has a bar. the rooms were comfortable and there was hot water for hot tea in the morning. the breakfast was also excellent.
