This is our 3 rd visit to this lovely place and it won’t be our last ! Jon and Shelley are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble Jon left us fresh mangos to eat and let us have a slightly late check out today before our long flight back to the UK The gardens and pool area a stunning and a credit to Jon’s hard work The rooms are simple but perfect One thing to note they no longer serve breakfast but there’s plenty places near

We loved this accommodation! John, the owner super friendly and full of local information and suggestions for the best local food and drinks. The Guilford River Retreat is nestled in a beautiful garden of which which we took full advantage. Take away and wine under the vines was wonderful.

We found the location, room , grounds and access to the train and nearby cafes and hotels perfect for our needs. We flew into Perth from London and found it very easy to catch the train from the airport to Guildford quick and easy.

It's a great place, perfect service and lovely chats with the owners and staff. They open for every special request ...all at all they give you the feeling that you are at home. And they are close by restaurants, train station and parks - so everything is easy to reach.

After being stranded in Perth due to cancelled flight we where fortunate to find this amazing accommodation. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. And even washed and dried our clothes at no charge. Beautiful gardens and lots of historic buildings nearby.
