在神仙池風景區內，能夠看到高山海子、大面積鈣化景觀和原始森林等景觀。神仙池在藏語中被稱為“嫩恩桑措”，意思是仙女洗浴的地方。景區內有蓮台彩池、雙龍池、青龍海等景點。景區內可以騎馬，還可以漂流。進入神仙池景區，沿著古樸的木製棧道慢慢前行，成片的山坡被乳白色鈣質所包裹，形成奇特的盆狀鈣化池和鈣化坡，池中的水色發出一種獨特的“九寨藍”，很有些不食人間煙火的味道。

神仙池，不愧是神仙住的地方，美～有似九寨溝的海子，也有如黃龍的鈣化池，就是規模稍小了點，名氣不響，但是勝在人少啊，體驗感很不錯～最大的缺點是交通不便，我們是包車過去的。但是路過的28道拐對長在平原的遊客來說，也是不可多得的景色和體驗～
如果想看鈣化池，又擔心去黃龍海拔太高，就很推薦來這裏。當然了，如果看水，推薦遊玩九寨溝再來這裏，地方很小，人少景美，景區建議下部分遊覽即可，總之真的很美，推薦。

九寨溝愛情海景區
遊覽神仙池風景區過後，不妨到附近的九寨溝愛情海景區一遊。甘海子學名芳草海，位於松潘縣和九寨溝縣交界處的弓杠嶺，這裡原是一處高山湖泊，後因地質變化，出水口擴大，所以當地百姓俗稱“幹海子”。其實，“幹海子”並不幹，這裡四周遠山層疊，森林茂密，海子中溪水蜿蜒，芳草萋萋，如天鵝絨地毯鋪滿大地，夏秋季野花點綴其間，牛羊騾馬成群，冬春時則一片深黃，與周圍的雪山紅葉相映成趣。因此，人們逐漸就把“幹海子”叫成了“甘海子”。
甘海子景區有金犀牛海、芳草海、九曲彩河組成的湖泊群，以此為中心，周圍的高山峽穀中河瀑分布密集，原始森林茂密，高山植物垂直帶譜景觀明顯。它位於九寨溝、黃龍風景區之間，具有便利的交通條件，較大的活動範圍和豐富的景觀資源。另外，還有大劇院、博物館、寺廟、經筒陣、塔林、祭祀祖壇、藏羌碉樓群、歌舞廣場、草地馬場、休閑漂流河道等旅遊景點。

非常推薦的地點，還沒有被過度開發，遊客很少，多了一份難得的清靜。藍天白雲，牛馬成群，還有淳樸的藏民。騎馬上山繞着寨子走一圈，山坡上還有一個小草原。路上還有一個小寺廟，虔誠的上了柱香，掛上了經幡，祈禱家人平安幸福，也祈禱當地的藏民朋友們生活越來越富足美滿。
整體不錯，都是一些很原生態的藏寨，裏面的藏民挺友好的，去到了幾個藏民家裡参觀，內有乾坤的感覺。還聽到了很多關於藏族的婚嫁殯葬的習俗，挺有趣的。

長海
長海是九寨溝長的一個海子，長達四公里多，呈墨藍色，“S”形分佈。海旁林木茂密，一眼望去，巍巍雪峯，還有典型的冰川景觀，都沐浴在藍天白雲之中，壯觀奇麗。長海海拔在3000米以上，是溝內海拔高的海。長海四周沒有出水口，水源來自於高山融雪。奇怪的是，長海從不乾涸，也不溢堤，因此藏民稱之為“裝不滿，漏不幹”的寶葫蘆。長海呈墨藍色，四周山巒疊翠，對面的羣峯，一到初秋便披上了白色的盔甲，中間一座冰峯寒光逼人。隆冬時節，長海冰層厚達60釐米，載重汽車亦可在其上開行。長海也可算是九寨溝所有海子的母親，因為長海沒有出水口，衹能依靠蒸發和地下暗河把水排出，而這些地下河道正是其它海子水源的重要補給。

The hotel is tucked away in a lively area, yet offers a peaceful retreat. We stayed in a suite on the third floor, which was very spacious with beautiful views from the window. The service was excellent; every staff member was friendly, and anything we needed was delivered incredibly fast. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were great, and having a Starbucks option was a nice bonus.
The only issue we encountered was related to the bedding. The hotel thoughtfully provided three sets of toiletries and slippers, anticipating that most suite guests would be families. However, there was only one 1.8-meter bed, which wasn't suitable for sleeping with a young child. We had to request an extra bed, but the mattress was uncomfortable. When we brought this to the hotel's attention, they responded very promptly and handled it exceptionally well, which we greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the two front desk managers (one male, one female – I was in too much of a hurry to catch their names). I hope the hotel can improve on this aspect in the future. Since they already expect families in suites, it would be ideal to provide a small sofa bed. We wouldn't mind paying an extra bed fee, but the mattress should be comfortable to avoid impacting the overall stay experience.
The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, with three free prints. Both the makeup artist and photographer were professional and friendly. We were on a tight schedule, so they finished everything within two hours, and we were very happy with the photos. We ended up purchasing a package to take home. I highly recommend it to anyone with more time during their stay.From€121

Environment: The hotel itself is a scenic spot, with ******* style, perfect for photos. There's also an animal entertainment area that kids will love. The hotel is nestled in a primeval forest. As a long-time InterContinental member and a repeat guest, Dracula proactively upgraded me to a mountain view room. Opening the window revealed stunning autumn foliage – absolutely breathtaking!
Service: The staff were warm, proactive, and attentive. There was a mini-bar, welcome fruit, and my itinerary was perfectly arranged. Lisa proactively followed up after my departure. My only regret is that the complimentary beer and sea buckthorn drinks from the mini-bar, which I hadn't even opened yet, were kindly taken away by a cleaning lady – perhaps she thought I might get altitude sickness if I drank them.
Additionally, transportation is indeed inconvenient. On the first day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a car to pick us up. I rented a car on Trip.com that was delivered to the hotel the next morning, and then we explored by self-driving. We returned the car at Songpan Station. The resort complex housing the hotel boasts independent coffee shops, a KFC, Cha Bai Dao, what is reportedly the country's third Hard Rock Cafe, an upcoming Starbucks, and a sizable museum dedicated to ******* culture. It's quite pleasant for a leisurely stroll.
The hotel rooms are quite spacious, and the two king-sized beds (1.8m each) were satisfactory. However, the hotel's facilities are not well-maintained, likely due to its remote location in Jiuzhaigou. There are also some rather peculiar design choices: for instance, the bathroom clearly has two mirrors, but one is completely blocked by the bathtub. To use *that* mirror, you literally have to stand inside the tub! 🤭🤭🤭 Furthermore, the bathroom's floor drain design is problematic; with high water flow, it can't drain fast enough, causing water to pool.
The breakfast and the Metok stone pot chicken served at dinner in the hotel restaurant were pretty good. However, I'd strongly caution against ordering any Chinese dishes (😂😂😂); they are genuinely unappetizing, and the quality is very subpar.
The hotel's acclaimed ”signature butler service” was rather underwhelming. On the positive side, the two front desk staff members during check-in and check-out were quite helpful and attentive.
In summary, for Indigo, an IHG luxury brand, its standards were genuinely hampered by its geographical location this time around.From€79

The staff's service was truly personalized and attentive, a refreshing change from the generic, 'by-the-book' service you often encounter. While everyone's needs and feelings are different, and a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn't work, I personally had a fantastic experience. There was a queue, but I don't know why they processed the foreign guests' check-in first. After checking in, they didn't help with luggage to the room (at this point, it was past 12 AM and there were no other guests 🙂). They said I could carpool to the gully entrance. When I asked the front desk at check-out, they directed me across the street. Once there, they said I would have to wait a long time and suggested taking a taxi myself 🤷♀️. It's an old state-owned four-star hotel, which is quite standard. Breakfast is usually included, and free parking is available until you leave the hotel, so you can check out first. It's about a 2-kilometer walk from the entrance of the scenic area. The hotel shuttle bus does not pick up and drop off the scenic area during major holidays such as National Day. It is said that it is usually free to pick up and drop off the scenic area. If you are in a hurry in the morning, you will see a taxi waiting at the hotel entrance. It's 30 yuan per car or 10 yuan per person for 3 people. You can take a taxi directly to the ticket gate, which is more convenient than the parking lot at the scenic area. It's very crowded to take a taxi back, so I walked back and walked along the riverside on the back street. I looked at the time. It took exactly 30 minutes to walk from the exit of the scenic area to the hotel. It should be more than 20 minutes. I took a taxi and waited for a while. We booked a king-size room on the third floor and were very satisfied with everything. Before going to bed, we noticed an extra door. Opening it led to another door in the next room. We asked the front desk and found out it locked from both sides. This design is quite unusual. The family room was fine, I thought. We changed rooms. Although it was on the first floor and the orientation wasn't ideal, we slept well. We arrived late purely for a quick nap. The next day, we were rushing to catch the first wave of people heading into the scenic area, so we didn't pay much attention to anything else. Having our own private parking lot was very convenient, and the location was okay. It's at the entrance of the scenic area, not nestled against the mountains, and not too oppressive. Overall, we were satisfied. Although the price was a bit high for a single room during the National Day holiday and the price increase, it was only a small increase compared to other hotels and was within our acceptable range. They gave us some snacks and bananas, and the bananas were incredibly sweet. The bathroom was very clean, the bedding was good, and there was an electric blanket. Not only did they help bring our luggage from the scenic area to our room, allowing us to travel light and explore Jiuzhaigou, but they also helped deliver our luggage to our next hotel after our visit, eliminating the need to worry about luggage. It's perfect for those who enjoy a relaxing trip. The evening stargazing service from the mountaintop was a pleasant surprise. The astonishing experience of being transported to the summit to gaze at the dazzling array of stars was truly unforgettable. The guidebook provided was also incredibly thoughtful, with detailed route planning and time management, which was extremely helpful.
However, I must objectively address the shortcomings. The breakfast was rather simple and lacked variety, which might not satisfy those with high breakfast expectations. The hot spring pool in the room had quite a few sharp corners, requiring extreme caution when entering and exiting, which presented a risk of scratches. I hope the design could be improved.
The bed was the most detrimental aspect of the hotel experience: the mattress was of average quality, and neither the firmness nor the texture lived up to the ”light luxury” positioning. As a core requirement for a hotel stay, it felt uncomfortable. Furthermore, the mattress and base seemed a few centimeters shorter, leaving sharp edges that easily bumped against my legs when moving around the room. I had to be extremely cautious getting up in the middle of the night, which affected my sense of security. Furthermore, the value for money for the room and meals wasn't great; the prices were indeed a bit high.
But I have to say, if you're looking for a one-night stay in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, this hotel is currently the best choice. There's no better choice. Taking all factors into consideration, I recommend it, especially the location, stargazing service, and luggage service. I sincerely hope the hotel can put more effort into core experiences like bedding. After all, a good night's sleep and a safe stay are the most important things a hotel should do well.From€84

I tend to stay at Atour hotels when I travel, but I've found that the quality can differ quite a bit from city to city. My child's first impression of this Atour Light was that it looked rather old, and she was a bit turned off by it. However, after leisurely exploring Jiuzhaigou for three days and staying at two other similarly priced hotels, we realized that hotels around the Jiuzhaigou entrance are generally in a similar state.
Its location is very convenient, right next to the Guoda Parking Lot, which makes catching a bus easy. It's a 20-minute walk to the scenic area entrance, or a 20 RMB flat-rate taxi ride.
We booked a family room with two bedrooms side-by-side. The hallway included a luggage rack and the bathroom. The bathroom design was a bit awkward; the glass door had a noticeable gap and wasn't fully sealed, offering little privacy. For the price, both the hotel's amenities and the scenery were absolutely breathtaking!
Upon arrival, a dedicated butler welcomed us with a traditional Hada scarf. Prior to check-in, we enjoyed welcome tea and a stunning ******* dance performance – both the dancers and the backdrop were enchanting.
During check-in, they also gave us a comprehensive tour of the lobby's functional areas, introducing their three restaurants:
The stir-fry restaurant offered delicious food and the most spectacular views (even the tableware was custom-designed to complement the ambiance).
The mini hot pot restaurant was very refined.
And then there was the Western restaurant, which apparently wasn't great (we didn't try it ourselves, but reviews suggested it wasn't up to par).
The sprawling resort consists entirely of individual villas, so electric buggy service is essential and generally available on demand (though there were occasional minor hiccups, which I hope they address).
The room was simply indescribable – so comfortable and steeped in local culture and unique features. My child exclaimed that the moment they saw the room, all the exhaustion from our long journey immediately melted away, making it completely worthwhile (a 2-hour high-speed train ride from Chengdu to Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou, followed by another 1.5 hours from the station to the hotel). I've never stayed in a hotel this beautiful, this spacious and grand, complete with such a massive balcony! It genuinely felt like a 'welcome home' – though even my own home isn't this stunning! I must be dreaming!
The swimming pool was so immaculately clean, it didn't even have a hint of chlorine smell.
Upon departure, they even presented us with a thoughtful 'love bento' (delicious sandwiches, nuts, and fruit) and welcome gifts for the children (toys, bracelets, craft kits, etc.).
Just a note: the in-room minibar is complimentary only on the first day of your stay.
All the staff were incredibly charming and warm-hearted (I have photos to prove it!).
If I *had* to point out one minor drawback, it would be the transportation inconvenience; you'll need to charter a car, otherwise, getting down the mountain would be quite a challenge!
I've never written such a detailed hotel review before, but if I had to describe this hotel in just two words, they would be: utterly magnificent!

The location is absolutely excellent. You can see the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center lockers right across the street from the window. Breakfast starts at 7 AM. After eating, you just turn right and walk straight, about 100 meters, and you're at the ticket gate. The breakfast isn't super extensive, but it tastes decent. In the evening, you can order food at their waterfront restaurant; everything is freshly stir-fried. The stir-fried yak meat I ordered was very tender. Also, the jerky-like item on the top left of the second page of the menu (I think) was delicious—it's deep-fried, fragrant, and crispy. However, all the dishes were quite expensive, so I wouldn't recommend other dishes due to the low value for money.
According to a taxi driver, this hotel is run by the Jiuzhaigou Administration and used for external hospitality. It's only three stories high with a limited number of rooms, so remember to book early. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The service wasn't outstanding, but all reasonable requests were met. Don't have too high expectations, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. The JI Hotel is probably the best-located hotel at the entrance to Jiuzhaigou Valley, which is why it's often sold out. Downstairs, it has a Starbucks, a high-speed rail direct shuttle bus stop, KFC, and another Starbucks and Luckin Coffee, all centrally located in the Zangwang Yanwu Plaza. It's also very close to the valley entrance's ticket office, less than a ten-minute walk away.
Since it's a new hotel from 2023, the facilities are incredibly new – it's the best JI Hotel I've ever stayed in. The amenities are comprehensive and responsive to every need, and the front desk staff are also very warm and attentive.
The breakfast was the best I've had these past few days, even better than the chain breakfast at other JI Hotels (like the one near the China Academy of Art in West Lake). The room was very clean and comfortable, with floor heating, which was a real luxury in this weather. The hotel owner was very thoughtful. I had a headache when I arrived by bus, and the owner kindly reminded me it might be altitude sickness and advised against showering. I arrived at the hotel after 11 PM, and the owner also reminded me to quickly order takeout as it wouldn't be possible after midnight.
The most touching thing was that the hotel's shuttle driver (who was also the owner) drove us to and from the scenic area. When we were leaving Jiuzhaigou, we were in a huge rush. The driver was like a 'Initial D' street racer! In just two minutes, he saved a couple who were running out of breath, allowing them to catch their bus! The driver is a god!
