羅馳施爾酒店(Loch Shiel Hotel)

Had a meal in the hotel. Booking 100% advisable. Superb surroundings. Excellent parking. Great staff very friendly and great service. Good variety of food on the menu. Very reasonable prices. Big portions. Would highly recommend this place

Estuvimos aquí en agosto de 2023. Se trata de un pequeño hotel con 10 habitaciones. La nuestra era amplia y con un baño con bañera bastante grande y completamente remodelado. El desayuno es muy completo, de calidad y con un cocinero-camarero muy simpático y profesional. La única pega que le pondría es que las cortinas de la habitación no son lo suficientemente opacas y en cuanto amanece lo hace también en el interior de la habitación

What a wonderful find.tucked away far from the madding crowd 😊 We stayed for 2 nights in a room with a view.very clean room, comfy beds and good bathroom. The daily shortbread was a great, personal touch. We will definitely be back and would recommend a stay here. I can’t comment on the bar as we didn’t eat or drink there.

Stayed here for a night while working away. Beautiful location. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food smelt delicious. Great atmosphere with guests and locals in the bar. The staff where very friendly and accommodating.

Oh dear!! We must have arrived on the wrong day. Six of us had booked for dinner. The menu was very limited, particularly compared to what was on the menu on the website. The waiting staff were lovely but had the unfortunate job of delivering what was coming out of the kitchen. Watery Cullen Skink, chip shop type fried haggis and over cooked langoustines to start with. Followed by school home economic type venison stew and string batter fish and chips. Both would have failed with flying colours. Such a shame. Our complaints were heard and the bill reduced. We would much rather have paid in full for decent food. Such a shame!

Friendly people, excellent dining, staff very helpful. Went with long term friends and had a glorious few days. On-site pub had live Local music that was delightful and for which there was no cover charge. Overall a great few days in this lovely place we used a base for hiking and sightseeing.

Great fresh food in a super cute classic Scottish Restaurant. Great Seafood and other local classics are served by a wonderful team. They have a pub style bar and a pool table as well as great seating in the big garden with view onto Loch Shield.

Only negative I had was the late check-in time, but other than that I had a great experience, and really enjoyed the wonderful staff.
