Terrible terrible motel/hotel room. The only good thing was the check-in process. After that, it was just a horror show. The floor was dirtiest. You will see it when you wash your feet (black stuff getting washed away from your feet). TV does not work. AC/Heating unit is your white-noise machine. Anyone who walks upstairs, can just get through the ceiling and come to the downstairs room. It was that noisy just with people walking upstairs. The bathroom is on another level in terms of cleanliness and setup. Instead of an exhaust fan in the bathroom, the fan grill was spackled to the ceiling. This means, there is no Fan, and there is no window for the ventilation. No toilet napkin holder. You are the holder; so hold the napkin roll in one hand and take a dump. Just horrible. I have never seen a hotel/motel room this horrible in my 25 years of living in this country. The amount ******* charges for this room is not justified.

Tout avait bien commencé : charmant motel rénové avec goût non loin d ichetucknee springs (20mn). Accueil souriant et chaleureux du directeur. Puis au moment du coucher : découverte de petites bêtes qui se baladent dans les draps. Inspection alors de la tête de lit en bois qui est blindée de punaises de lit : certaines : mortes et d autres bien en forme. Après notre appel immédiat à la réception : fermée mais avec une permanence téléphonique, on nous propose de changer de chambre. " il ne faut pas non plus exagérer : ce n est que des petites bêtes, ce ne sont pas des araignées ! " nous répond la dame. Le lendemain au moment du check out : on ignore ce qui s est passé la veille et aucune excuse n est apportée. C est dommage car je ne souhaitais pas afficher ici notre expérience Mais il n y a eu aucune réponse à mon mail envoyé directement sur leur site.

Cama maravilhosa, super confortavel, melhor que de hotel 5 estrelas, local proximo a restaurantes e supermercados.

Property is updated and clean, though finishing details are not professional grade. Bed is lixuriously comfortable and staff is accommodating.

My family and I recently traveled to High Springs to lay my Grandfather to rest and decided to stay at the Blue Gem as it was right down the road from his home. It was a very pleasent place to stay. It is updated, very quiet, very clean, great price, and just a cute little place to stay if you ever have to travel to the area. The Florida Springs are right down the road and the little town is really neat to visit. Ive been going there for over 40 years since I was a little girl and I would recommend this little Gem to anyone staying in the area for sure. Next time we visit we will definitly be staying here again:)
