"So glad we added staying overnight on the Xandari Riverscapes (on Periyar luxury houseboat). From the moment we boarded the one bedroom houseboat, crewed by 3 members of staff we felt relaxed. They were so attentive and prepared three delicious meals for us whilst on board. Couldn’t think of a nicer way to explore the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. The boat was spotless and our bed was comfortable. Watching the sun go down over the water whilst sipping a chilled drink was special. Thank you x"

"This is a really fine homestay hotel. It’s very new and well-designed. There’s a small pool on the roof that offers a great view of the beach while you cool off. There’s an elevator for those of us who can’t handle stairs as well as we once could. The owner and staff are super friendly. Complimentary breakfast was eaten with other guests and usually the owner. A very family-like atmosphere."
