Verrassend goed, leuk en gezellig hotel aan het meer. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij hadden de mooiste kamer van het hotel (131) met buiten een prachtige douche, toilet en wasgelegenheid. De bedden zijn goed, maar kraken wel een beetje. Het restaurant vonden wij prima. Dinerbuffet in het prachtige buiten restaurant was oké, maar a la carte lunch was echt goed en niet duur. De alcoholische dranken zijn wel wat duur, ter vergelijking, we betaalden evenveel voor een glas witte wijn als voor een compleet hoofdgerecht, waarvan we met z’n tweeën konden eten. Dit is echter vrij normaal in Sri Lanka begrepen we en de prijzen zijn nog steeds goed. Zwembad is heerlijk.

Prima en nette ruime kamers, met een badkamer buiten (achter de kamer), wat best een leuk idee is, vooral met de buitendouche. Alleen als het vervolgens heel hard regent en je voeten nat worden als je op de wc zit, is het minder handig. Mooi gelegen aan het meer en een handige uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Ligt net buiten de drukte. Het zwembad was fijn en is mooier dan op sommige foto’s. Het personeel was erg aardig, alleen met het diner stonden de mensen wel heel dicht op de tafels. Het diner en ontbijt waren niet heel bijzonder en uitgebreid (als vegetariër wel wat minder keuze), maar prima.

El hotel está en obras, por lo que el encanto que pudiera tener la vegetación lo pierde con la maya verde gigante y los golpes. Una lastima porque la atención es buena y la habitación limpia. Lo único que el buffet del desayuno está lleno de hormigas y bichos, lo cual es hasta cierto punto es razonable ya que estás en la selva.

This is actually one of the worst places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. The customer service is worse than you could possibly think of and the place is just dirty. We strongly suggest that you pick one of the many other hotels in Anuradhapura. This place is absolutely not worth the money at all. You could easilly find a place that is much better and cheaper at the same time.

Highly recommended for family gatherings and business stays offering one of a kind service. Rooms are clean, food are delightful and staff are very accommodating. Situated in the heart of the Sacred City Anuradhapura, closeby to all major establishments. We truly enjoyed our stay because of excellent service. We'll surely come back on our next visit to Sri-Lanka.

This place is absolutely disgusting! It is absolutely filthy with flies buzzing around everywhere, especially in the restaurant. I wouldn't dare eat there. They had the audacity to put up a sign apologizing for the flies, claiming it's just a seasonal issue, but that does nothing to help the guests. And don't even get me started on the staff, they are so unfriendly. The lunch was supposed to be Sri Lankan cuisine, but there wasn't a single vegetable in sight. And as for dinner, it was a buffet, but it felt like they just kept serving the same meat items over and over again. When I asked if I could have a poached egg, they rudely informed me that there would be an additional charge. The room was a disaster too, it was dirty with flies and even mosquitoes inside. This place is an absolute nightmare to stay in. They seriously need to work on making their staff more friendly if they want to attract any guests.
