巴錫馬行政俱樂部酒店(Basma Club)

The main feature of this hotel is it's location on top of a hill overlooking the Nile. Also, you are able to use the facilities of its sister hotel, Basma Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, esp Meera who organised drivers and tour guide for us at short notice. The room was clean and spacious, and bathroom had all amenties, however the shower cubicle was on the small side and shower curtain just a couple cms too short so difficult to avoid getting the floor wet.

Worst hotel ever. I will rate it a 1 star hotel. Tiny bathroom, hard to take shower. No iron available in hotel forget in room. Air conditioner did not work, i think it will not go down a certain temperature. I had to sleep in warm room. Be careful when reserving this. Our tour company reserved it and we had no say.

L’hôtel Basma se compose de deux bâtiments : le premier est un grand complexe avec grande piscine et restaurant. Le deuxième est beaucoup plus petit: une vingtaine de chambres, et étant plus haut, offre une vue magnifique sur le Nil et Assouan. Il y a aussi une piscine, plus petite mais très agréable. Les chambres sont immenses et même dotées d’une kitchenettes. Seule la salle de bains est assez petite. Le restaurant (de la partie basse de l’hôtel), est très bonne et à prix corrects et le petit-déjeuner buffet très varié. Une super adresse.

This Hotel is the best! The staff are absolutely amazing. Very friendly and so accommodating. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable also quiet. The pool is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Great food. Just overall Incredible! Paul and Rhonda

The staff were great and helped us arrange a tour. They were very friendly and allowed us to shower before going to the airport. The view from the hotel is amazing. However, because it's so high up, it's not terribly walkable to the sites. The pool area is disappointing and had broken umbrellas and very little shade. I also had to ask for towels. The breakfast is not that great, did not have fruit other than an apple and no cereal. Also, we were told, the espresso machine wasn't working. Overall, I would give it a mediocure rating.

La partie executive club de cet hôtel est exceptionel, tranquille,propre avec des chambres spacieuses et une très grande salle de bain. La vue est spectaculaire. Surtout le personnel est amical et très professionnel. Un merci spécial à Merna,Hany et Gerges.

Les plus: La vue de la terrasse est extraordinaire! L’accueil de Mr. George, en français, était fort apprécié à la réception du Basma principal. La chambre, malgré le mobilier un peu défraîchie était d'une propreté exemplaire. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était vraiment très bien. La nourriture était aussi très acceptable pour les autres repas. Nous devons un grand merci à Mirna qui a su rendre notre séjour plus qu’agréable. Elle nous a recommandé Mario pour aller à Abu Simbel. Sa voiture est impeccable et comfortable, lui est très professionnel, ponctuel, et il a un un bon sens de l'humour. Il nous a également organisé une felouque de grande qualité (Basmatic) de Aswan à KoOmbo. Les moins: Malgré le fait que nous avons négocié le prix, celui-ci était trop élevé pour cette catégorie d'hôtel. Nous ne regrettons pas car … la vue! La douche est si minuscule que le rideau nous colle à la peau. Les oreillers sont durs comme de la roche. La cuisinette consiste en un micro-onde, une bouilloire et un grand frigo. Les armoires sont complètement vides Aucun équipement, vaisselle selle etc. Ils nous apportent prestement le minimum quand on le demande mais ca reste insuffisant. Finalement la piscine n'est pas chauffée donc beaucoup trop froide en janvier.

Excellent place to stay. Hotel is on a hillside with great view of the Nile River below and flood plains. The staff are highly professional. Check in and check out very smooth, no issues. Great breakfast with many options. Will stay again.
