I was here for 10 days for the 1st time. I am going back to Serbia with very good and beautiful memories. Appartment was beautiful in the hotel, the food excellent, the service extremely polite, kind, helpfull and warm. My husband and I plan to come here again next summer and I will cooperate with this hotel in my business.
Just returned from Grecian sands hotel. We went from 28th Aug/4th Sept. If you are thinking of booking this hotel just do it, it’s fantastic. We opted for a sea view room and I’m glad we paid the extra the view of the pool and sea were amazing. The rooms were spotless and quite modern. Beds were very comfortable and mattresses very thick. There was tea/coffee facilities and a mini bar in a small fridge. Maids in every day and did an amazing job. Room always smelled fresh when you went in. Sheets changed every 3 days but if you wanted them done every day you just popped the card on the bed and they would change them daily. We stayed B&B. There was plenty of choice. Lots of fresh fruit. Cakes full English breakfast hash browns, beans, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs Lady doing fried eggs and omelettes. Only thing that could be improved with the hot breakfast is it was Luke warm and the time u sat down to eat it. It was cold. The English sausage could do with being browned so they look more appealing as looking at them they look undercooked. May not bother some people but it does me so never had them. smoked fish all diff breads and rolls. Even had Turkish delight. You had pool cards which you handed to the girl of a morning and she would give you beach towels for the day. And later on in the day we exchanged ours for fresh ones for following day. It opens 8am to 7pm. There is also a spar indoor pool gym and hairdressers. Never tried any so can’t comment. The pool area was spotless. And it was attended to every morning. They had a hoover in there that went along the bottom hoovering anything up on the bottom like sand etc. they also emptied the filters daily too. Absolutely loads of loungers never a problem getting one. The ones on the sandy area at the front overlooking the beach did go quickly though. Managed to get these quite a few times or just behind. The breeze coming up from the sea made laying in the sun very comfortable. I did notice one person putting towels on the beds by the pool at 12 am the night before which I don’t agree with and this should be stopped by management. There is direct access via some steps down to the beach or a slope. When there is no wind the waters are crystal clear and calm. If windy then the waters look murky and the waves are quite bad and powerful. Seen a young girl of about 18 coming out crying with her boyfriend helping her. I also had a bit of a bad experience and only went in when there was no wind then. The waters were very warm in sea as was the pool. The hotel is situated up a hill. A few bars/ shops/restaurants in the vacinity. It is around a 20 min walk into ayia napa or you could jump the 102 which is just down the hill from hotel. It costs €1.50 before 9pm or €2.50 after 9pm.and will take 5 mins if that. It’s about 15 mins into protaras on the bus 101 which is located on opposite side to hotel. a walk down the hill or up the hill. Protaras is well worth the visit and buses run till ea

I stayed at the Grand Sapphire for 3 nights in a twin room. The room was comfortable, had an ensuite shower room and air conditioning. The hotel was spotlessly clean. There is an on site indoor pool/spa etc. It has no outdoor space, as far as I know. The only thing I would have changed was the food -- which was plentiful, buffet style Turkish -- but lacked a little in terms of quality.
Hotel is clean and breakfast is super good. Pool bar service is nice and there are enough sun beds for all, no need to reserve beds at early morning. Noise coming from other rooms are clear and loud, you can hear what they speak even they speak at normal volume, this was only thing I didnt like. Luckily our neighbour was older couple, so no big deal.
We had an amazing time at Nestor Hotel in August 2024. I would like to mention especially the pool, which is the best I’ve ever been and special thanks to the lifeguard, Christina. She is always very very careful with the guests, to make sure they have everything they need. She is not only doing her job from safeguard point of view, trying yo foresee any problem that might appear and prevent it, but also taking care that the umbrellas are open, or closed, according to everyone’s wishes, drinks are there to prevent dehydration and so on. This year I was with my daugther there and from time to tine she gave swimming advice, si that my daugther actually starting swimming alone. Big big thanks yo her! Amazing place to go 💞
OO5267KUjoannedWe stayed in a suite off site. It was very spacious and had recent been renovated. Lovely shower area and great continuous flowing water. Only draw back for this accommodation is the walk early every morning to secure sun beds. You need to be up around 6 to get a decent position. Food was lovely and plenty for vegetarians. Drinks are brilliant. Entertainment is rubbish - short walk to the town centre where there are.plenty of shops and bars. The poolside snack bar is fantastic - meals are massive! This means you don't have to completely dry off and go inside to eat. One member of staff in the dining room was over familiar and became a pest. We told reception about this son hopefully this has been addressed
VValentin LWe spent a perfect week in this hotel at the end of June. Hotel at a very good level. Common areas everywhere clean, rooms are cleaned every day and after each cleaning we found clean towels in the bathroom. Helpful and accommodating hotel staff. A couple of times we needed something at the reception and it was always taken care of in no time. The food was also very decent and the service was friendly. Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. We had free sunbeds and towels from the hotel which was also nice.
Currently staying at the Sunny Blue hotel, in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Wasn't sure what to expect given limited reviews. But seriously...no need to worry. Its a fab hotel. Looks like it has undergone a refurb, as rooms are pretty luxurious. Huge, comfy beds and a flat screen telly. Nice bathroom too, with plenty of hot water. Lovely pool area with cascading water features, and jacuzzi bubbles one end. Complimentary breakfast included which was half decent. Season almost at an end so hotel quiet which is perfect for us, as we are the only ones by the pool...bliss!! Only 10 mins into resort so ideal. Would definitely return to this hotel, given the price we paid. Highly recommend.
訪訪客Recently returned after a lovely family holiday first time to Cyprus for all of us and weather did not disappoint. Hotel positives - very clean and modern with daily visits by the maids - reception staff very helpful providing extra pillows etc on request and able to give advice of the local area which was very central and ideal within walking distance of beaches, shops and nightlife - which was helpful due to the lack of entertainment at the hotel. Despite being advertised as having ‘regular evening entertainment’ this consisted of a background singer / duo on a Tuesday and Friday night. This did not cater to families who then had to resort to going out of the hotel to find alternative entertainment venues to suit a family - therefore not a particularly good use of the all inclusive package - which was a shame as the all inclusive drinks options was quite extensive compared to other places we have stayed offering a large range of cocktails, beers and spirits. During the day you had to be up pretty early to get a sun-bed in the pool area. The pool itself was lovely and warm which was an helpful as you were unable to leave children unsupervised due to the pool being all one depth. Unless you were over 5’7” you were unable stand up anywhere in the main pool therefore unable to play with the children - there is a very small seated / jacuzzi area at one end of the pool which got quite busy and an ankle deep raised area at one side but nothing in between for mid-age children or their under 5’7” parents! There is a very small children's pool with a slide however our youngest (5) preferred not to play in there due to the sheer capacity of children AND adults who took to sitting in there! Food - breakfast was as expected offering cereal, continental and cooked with the bonus of freshly made pancakes much to the delight of our children. Lunch - nice choices however we regularly ate from the snack bar as more accommodating for the family needs. Evening meals VERY repetitive with very little choice or variety for the children and even the adults becoming fed up after a few days ( thank goodness for mcdonalds which was literally next door) one very small improvement could be to offer ice cream as a dessert in the restaurant as other than fresh fruit there was nothing they would eat. While we would be unlikely to stay again with young children we would not rule out as returning as adults only holiday or much older children. Don’t want to end on a negative as we did enjoy our holiday and this was partly due to the stafff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in particular bar staff Eleni, Anna- Marie and the lifeguard / barman/ waiter Pari who spoke to us regularly and interacted well with the children ( he needs a pay rise as never stopped morning noon or night 😂)
訪訪客Firstly before we even arrived I emailed the hotel multiple times with a query we had about our upcoming stay and they just ignore you and never get back to you (other guests have also said this has happened to them). The staff are very rude and have no interest in their guests (apart from one man making the pancakes every morning at breakfast he was so polite and loves to talk to all guests). The so called lifeguard is the rudest man you’ll ever meet, he just sits there talking to people on his phone while rolling tobacco cigarettes yet he had the audacity to shout at my boyfriend in front of everyone for jumping in the pool even though there were NO signs whatsoever that jumping in the pool was forbidden (just diving - which he didn’t do). He shouted “hey you do you want me to say it in another language” being rude and sarcastic. You have to pay for wifi and it only works in the room or reception area it doesn’t work by the pool or by the bar so I had to use my mobile data even though I paid for the wifi. Some days the hotel doesn’t play any music at all around the pool so it’s just complete silence and when they do play music, it’s the same awful depressing cover versions of pop songs on a continuous loop every 5 songs. There is only entertainment 3 nights a week and it is very short and not very good (it’s either a singer or dancer). It’s so bad that most people tend to go out into Ayia Napa and find their own entertainment, which is what we have done every night as we had no idea how boring the hotel was when we booked which is outrageous considering we have paid all inclusive and we still go out every day spending money The food is average but not very good at all. You have to pay for the mini fridge in the hotel room - not just to consume the items inside but to actually unlock the fridge door! So you can’t cool your own food and drink without paying for access to your fridge. You also have to pay for the wifi, safe and bottled water. The sunbeds are awful and uncomfortable and some are broke. The hotel is advertised as being ON the soft sand beach when in fact the beach it is on is a rocky beach that is only used for fishing and you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the soft sand beach where you are able to sunbathe and you have to pay for each sun bed. After being here 2 days we went and inquired about a late check out for in 5 days time because we knew they might not have availability as normal hotel check out time is 12pm and we were getting picked up at 6pm. We were told to come back and check again the next day which we did, just to be told again to come back and check again the day after and this happened every day until the morning we were leaving for them to say there was not ONE room available for us to have for a late check out as our transfer wouldn’t be picking us up for hours. This left us with no room or shower for 6 hours forced to just sit around in reception. Genuinely the only good thing about this h
訪訪客Had a wonderful holiday here! Was a bit wary after reading some of the previous reviews, but I'm glad I didn't read too much into them. All staff were so polite, helpful and ready to act on your every whim with a smile. I'm sure a lot of the negative reviews are a self-reflection maybe on how people treat others and they get the same back in return. I'm sure Savvas in the bar was determined to make sure my husband had a good holiday by not measuring his vodka!! Entertainment was limited but there was only one person on the ents team, so you can only do so much then, but he was friendly enough and really involved everyone in everything that was going on. We had an issue with our safe in the room which was sorted within 15 minutes of reporting it. There was ample food and drink for everyone. Lots of variety every day, with lots of lovely local Greek dishes to try. As soon as the restaurants closed the snack bars would open, so food, ice creams and drinks were available right through the day. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaners came in every day and changed sheets and towels every other day. If you need it done more often than that you just had to speak to reception and they accommodated you. The pools, sunbed area and surrounding complex areas were clean and tidy. Some sunbeds were obviously a bit tired after a full season, but that's to be expected by November I suppose! Unfortunately we missed the waterpark which closed the day we got there on 31 October, but the 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool was fine anyway and the disappointment from the teens didn't last too long - I did wonder before going if it may close as we were going towards the end of season. Only a short walk out of the back of the hotel and you were on the promanade that runs the length of Ayia Napa, which was a really nice walk especially when the sun was setting. The location is ideal, just off a main street and a short walk to the busy bars. A 5 minute walk to the harbour and bus stops are 2 mins away to take you all over the island. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing holiday and by the end of the 10 days we felt like we were in an exclusive resort as there was hardly anyone left! I'd definitely recommend Panthea Holiday Village as an ideal base for your holiday in Ayia Napa.
