I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. 最差的一次入住體驗，入住時酒店前台説未收到攜程付款，拖了很久不給辦理入住手續，後來前台主管讓我刷卡付費後入住，之後我反覆與攜程交涉，一共住三晚，其中兩天都在忙這個事兒，攜程説酒店不回覆，酒店説攜程未付款，一直到我退房後過了幾個小時才解決，害的我在前台站了一個多小時，又冷又餓又煩，第二天沒辦法與同伴遊玩兒，太糟糕了，不論是酒店還是攜程，都很糟糕，差評差評差評。

The location of the hotel is excellent, clean and close to Nizami Street. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. All thanks and respect to the distinguished management and I wish them success.Special thanks to the hotel manager Niger for her cooperation and interest. This will not be the last visit to Baku and we look forward to a future visit in the coming years, God willing.

Небольшой,уютный отель в старом городе. Расположен в глубине улицы, во дворе, поэтому в номерах тихо. Не слышно ни машин, ни людей. Метро в 3 минутах ходьбы. Номер был делюкс, чистый и просторный. Всё есть для комфортного проживания. Лифт . Завтрак включен, каждому подают на подносе . Выбора нет. Оплачивать советую только по приезду. Нам оплатили местные через Букинг со своей карты и на ресепшн ни как не могли найти оплату. Работникам ресепшн за работу оценка два. Ноль информации и внимания. 住在這家酒店一個月。如果不走一週,很好選擇。位置不錯,在火車站附近,地鐵,在對面的岸。寬的房間是80平方米的工作室,配有廚房。有免費洗衣房,方便早上扔東西,然後拿走,只需要粉末。非常負責任和善意的工作人員。感謝Mayis和Mehrib的住宿部主任,他迅速地諮詢並給出了正常的選擇。值得注意的是:-拿一個房間,走進院子,走進城市的房間,從太陽升起,以及街上發出的強烈噪音,特別是來自阿塞拜的司機,他們表示在哪裏,在哪裏,不像瘋子。他們也開車。小心,他們和車子不同,你或走過路,你可能沒注意到-早餐可能比較多樣,所有30天都吃了一樣,而桌子的三分之一-8-10 香腸和同樣多的奶,早餐顯然是酒店的弱點,從多樣性角度來看,Wi-Fi在房間裏可能非常弱,尤其是在角落裏,這顯然是從路由器裏被隔離,而且說是放大器在那兒,但是我們已經一個月沒有達到了,例如,我們把互聯網從Simki送到電視台看電視,因爲俄羅斯沒有,而且花了“一分錢”在遊說中,互聯網很好

感謝酒店優質的服務,一切都很好,乾淨,親切。位置好。完美的屋頂露台,可以欣賞城市景觀,早餐晚餐不錯。所有的觀光都近在尺,所以你可以很容易地做每一件事在散步。

We went from india and had specifically booked an early check in as ours was a red eye flight. We reached the hotel almost at 7 am. The reception staff told us that our early check in reservation was cancelled and as they were fully booked we should spend time elsewhere till 3 pm. They would try their best to get a room by 1 pm. We contacted our Indian agent who had booked this hotel for us. They got on the job and kept us updated. We were sitting in front of the reception all this while. In an hour we got a message that it was sorted out. When we went to the reception telling them the guy my agent had spoken to we were told he would come in at 9 am. When we went after 10 mins we were handed our key cards. The room was ready. Though the rooms are good such an attitude for a 5 star place was in a very bad taste. No apologies were tendered. Worst they did not bother to call us when they could see us sitting there in front of them. We will come back here on our way back and will be asking for late check out. Let’s see if they are more helpful next time.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Baku was very comfortable.The Staff was warm and helpful. The Location is excellent. The Breakfast was sumptuous and the timings relaxed. One member of the Staff at breakfast took it on himself to remind us to come early, everyday. On a lighter note ! No complaints, we were always served well. The Rooms are large and well appointed, it was important for us as it was an 8 days stay. I would strongly recommend this Hotel for Stay in Baku.

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕
