In my life, this has been the most pathetic hotel that I ever stayed in. 1. 24-hour Room Service closes at 10 pm. 2. They have wifi which keeps disconnecting and even this review I am writing by using the internet from phone. Called the people from the front office twice and waiting and seeing their attitude I gave up. 3. They have a scanning menu card in the rooms where you can order food online and one keeps waiting only to be told that the scanner is not working. 4. Above all the pathetic attitude of the front office and banquet staff is a killer. At the room service ***ager was polite to apologize and offer a free soup. Will surely never stay here again, and neither will i recommend to anyone.

Experience with The Capitol Hotel has been disappointing and not worth a penny. During the checkin I was informed that there is no reservation found due to system error and when asked about refund, no response was received. On entering the room, bed throw had stains and room had musty smell. While coming back to the hotel at night, security guard was seen sleeping which makes me think about my safety. At night, AC stopped working and when tried connecting with hotel team, phone was not working properly. Somehow I connected from my personal phone and person from maintenance came to check, he mentioned that it will cool within half n hour. My entire stay has been nothing but pathetic.

It started with a poor chek-in, where internet coverage was too bad and room was not very clean. in the new room internet coverage was better as modem was nearby. However the room was not looking fresh. The towel set was really bad (which was replaced later). The Display in the TV was full of lines and the mechanic told, it was like that in every room. More over only free channels were available and hardly any paid channels. The remote of the TV was changed twice during my stay, The TV wiring exposed open tables and appeared very shabby. In the bathroom, dryer plug was hanging out from the switch board exposing live lines. Overall the look is that of a property with hardly any maintenance. As the remote was not working, as felt for location of controls on the side and top of TV, a lot of dust got into my fingers.

I have stayed here regularly from 2012 to 2023. After the COVID pandemic, the entire staff is changed and as a result no one recognises old loyalties anymore. I had requested replenishing drinking water in my room and had come down to the reception remind them and had the mortification of hearing the uneducated receptionist say” customer neeche aake chillara” to the housekeeping employees. It’s no more my home away from home.

I have stayed here continuously for 9 years since 2013. Earlier the staff recognised my loyalty and respected me for that by checking me in without early check-in charges and I loved the happy hours at the upper house. Now, when I want the water replenished in my room, the front office questions me and asks me if I’m checking out presuming that I’ll refuse to pay for the water. I miss the old Capitol because now it’s becoming commercial it’s not my home away from home anymore.

1. Booking was made online; but receptionist told no reservation in my name. Later when i showed the reservation details, he cooly told that it was not reflected in his system. 2. Not even a single hanger in the wardrobe 3. No fridge in the room 4. Even toilet seats are hanging without a hook. Not worth to call as a star hotel.

They don’t take international cards, dirty room, found hair and **x juice, no shower towels, they got me a floor towel after 45 min waiting, they don’t answer the phone, they accused me stealing towels and searched my baggage, I reported to orbitz they didn’t do anything 🙄,

I have preferred staying at The Capitol, Bangalore during my visits. I have enjoyed the couteous service, delicious spread of buffet breakfast and the comfortable ambience of the rooms. All my previous stays were memories during my recent stay in November because of the pandemic. I request the ***agement to restart all the facilities and make the hotel fully functional. Loyal guests like me are missing the old Capitol. Hopeful of the old warmth during my next visit earliest.

Amazing experience. Good ambience, friendly staffs, very good service 😊 👍🏼👍🏼 The room service was really good. Rooms are huge and nice. The food is fantastic. A home away from home when travelling 🏡

The only good thing about this hotel is deepak,the one and only sole hero of this property.He is very polite and even made sure to carry our baggage,god bless you deepak.We wioll come back only for deepak.Deepak rocks!!!

It was a very good stay and Ms. Chandrakala was very helpful at the reception. The stay was was taken care very well by the team and the ***agement. We will come back soon again to enjoy the services.
