Stayed here in March, 2023, and could not fault anything whatsoever. The hotel is in a very central location, within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. Rooms were large and well maintained and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice. Whilst often the hot elements of hotel buffets are served warm/lukewarm at best, here the hot buffet was served very hot and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Final word must be regarding the staff. All the staff we interacted with, from the booking team through to the front desk staff, were absolutely first class and they could not do enough to assist you, from our need to change the dates of our booking due to a cancelled flight, right through to arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. All the staff were a real credit to the company and give an excellent impression, from a customer service perspective.

Rather expensive for what you get, more like a Hostel set up. Communal kitchen, with a selection of foods, toast, cereal etc. This was OK but again for the cost per night, not really adequate. Bed was very small, small double pushed against the wall, very restricted for space. The noise was probably the worse thing, racing cars up and dwn the road throughout the night. You would get woken suddenly by extreme back fire and screeching wheels. The drunkeness of people out and about you can tolerate but the car noise a definite no. The price does not reflect the quality of the hotel. Location good Check in good Cleanliness good
WWolverine154First, the no-front desk touch screen check-in was beyond brutal. You have to type in EVERYTHING (and what they want is WAY over the top) one letter/# at a time w/your finger-whole process took me about 20 mins. Ridiculous. I think management realizes that-hence why they have a mini-fridge stocked w/gratis microbrews just inside the entry to keep guests from blowing their lids. My room was far, far away from any possible noise from the bar on the 2nd floor. Room, bed & bathroom were huge, modern & well appointed. Very quiet. Only issue was the fact that the wifi, like pretty much all of the other 7 properties I stayed at during my 3 weeks in the UK, was pretty pokey-around 10 mbps which barely allows for streaming youtube. Also, they need to provide mini-fridges. Yes, I know, Brits & most of the rest of Europe have no idea what they are just like that strange type of water called ice. My rating would be 4 stars but in the course of about 2 nights/3 partial days I got way more than a sixer of brews (I have never seen this perk anywhere in the world & I respect it deeply as a former homebrewer) so this add on made it 5 stars stay.
