A regular annual visitor for years, this trip was the most disappointing by far. Was allocated one of the worse rooms in the resort as I had booked the 50% offer, in the attic eves, very little light, flies galore, even a can of fly killer on the window sill. I went down to reception at 5am to ask if I could have another room, I hadn't had any sleep. Room was so stuffy. Please be aware there are no rooms with air-conditioning. There was a noisy old fan in the wardrobe which just moved the warm air around. The security guard on reception said he would make a note and someone would contact me, they didn't. Went back to reception after breakfast - no other rooms available to move to - 2 more nights of misery. Asked again to change rooms when had no water in the bathroom but by the time I had reported no water it had come back on and was told no other rooms available. The corridors are very uneven, definitely a trip hazard. One poor woman was at reception advising the stairs gave way and she had hurt her leg and no one seemed interested to fill out an accident report or seemed to care. The food used to be a lovely a la carte but now buffet. The food at 12.00 noon was only just luke warm having just been put out. Disappointing. You can't just put drinks on your room you have to carry the little card, not the room key, for each time you make a purchase. Dinner is very rushed, dessert has to be ordered with starter and main. There is no longer the option to order at a cost a full English breakfast or a hot breakfast of any sort. The coffee is nasty but there is a good selection of teas. The hot options are boiled eggs, poached egg, frittata, mushrooms and an chicken sausage that has no colour. Lunch is buffet style with a decent selection of salads. Filtered still and sparkling water is free at meal times, alcohol is quite expensive - I think the cheapest bottle of wine is £34.00, 175ml glass of wine £8.50. The spa treatments are nice but extremely expensive not value for money. The swimming pool changing rooms often no towels available so grab one from pool reception to avoid making a wet dash after your swim. You have to book and pay to attend fitness classes. aqua aerobics is free - the young woman instructor was just awful, completely clueless. My biggest disappointment after 9pm you cannot get a bottle of water, coffee, or drink of any description. No room service available. The cafe closes at 6pm. The ”bar” at dinning room closes around 9pm. The website advertises a table for singles to dine together but asked and was told we don't do that anymore. I was given a substantial amount of Champneys gift vouchers for a mile stone birthday but unable to use for the 'returner offer' - what a con. It would seem booking on their 50% discounted offer means you are treated like a second class citizen. Please note that the 50% off is actually not 50% discount of the advertised rate but 50% off the expected projected price, what a load of rubbish!

I'll start with the good - there was plenty of parking and the bed was comfortable! As for the rest of the Willows, the building is old, the inside is tired, run down and in need of complete refurbishment - as a bare minimum, the whole place needs a really good clean. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and at best functional. The carpets in the corridors are rucked up and serious trip hazards; the fire doors have holes in them where handles have been changed (what sort of fire door is that?). You get the gist... They are understaffed - we had to wander around the building trying to find someone to serve us at the bar on our first night. On the second night, there were just 2 young and inexperienced staff behind the bar despite there being a function for over 100 people. The wait was ridiculous, the staff didn't know their red wines from their white, and the drinks were overpriced - £1.70 for a dash of blackcurrant, £6.50 for a pint of beer! As for security, it's a joke. On returning to our room one evening we found that the cleaner had opened the window and left it wide open all day - and I mean WIDE open. Bearing in mind the room was on the ground floor, anyone could have climbed in and helped themselves to our belongings. The whole experience is one I would not choose to repeat. I have just tried to fill in the customer experience questionnaire, which Wyboston Lakes emailed a link for - but guess what... the link doesn't work! That sums up Wyboston Lakes and the Willows.

A great place for a weekend break. 13 of us had the most wonderful time and nothing was to much trouble. Located right by the river, sitting on the terrace watching the swans and the boats gently float by was most relaxing. Best thing about the Kingfisher was the level of service we received. We all thought the staff were outstanding. All working together as a team, our comfort was their main concern. From the check in at a very friendly reception all the way through to the bar and restaurant staff, everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help no matter what the question. The rooms are spacious and well equipped for the length of stay. very clean, nice large bed good size TV and tea & coffee making facilities. We had a view of the car park, I am sure that nicer views are available. Restaurant food was very good, we ate their both nights. Very large portions and all cooked very well. A well stocked bar with a very impressive draft beer selection. If I was to complain about anything, I would suggest that the availability of a decent cup of coffee at breakfast was an issue. With only instant available during our stay, if you are a coffee snob, you will be disappointed. There was a wedding party Saturday night and some of the guests were very noisy leaving the party at gone midnight, but that was not the Kingfishers fault. Would I recommend this location - absolutely I would.

我真的很喜歡在這裏工作,我以前住過,但是自從酒店裝修後,現在真的很漂亮。我也使用了餐廳,食物很棒,環境很安靜,工作人員很好。我被一個叫坎迪斯的人(我認爲她的名字很好)服務,我附上了一些食物的照片。另外,如果你外出工作,同時也是一名騎自行車的人,也嘗試帶上你的自行車,因爲酒店外面有一些可愛的清晨河道可以騎車。完美!

Marcure Hotel is a nice place to be, the serenity of the place is awesome. Excellent staff support and breakfast was good. The location is in the centre of Bedford making it a very enjoyable place to be. Though Car Park is paid for, but the experience is worth repeating.

我們非常喜歡在這家酒店過夜,我們是一家3口,共用一個房間,入住時前台的工作人員非常熱情,效率高。一旦進入房間,我們非常驚喜地看到拉出牀對我的大兒子有多好。實際上它是雙人沙發牀。非常堅固,上面有一個非常體面的牀墊(不像我們住過的其他頂級酒店)。房間很乾淨,有你需要的一切,包括熨斗和熨衣板作爲標準。早餐是美味的事情,工作人員在跑下來時不斷補充物品。所有工作人員都非常友好,總的來說,超級價格的住宿很棒。當我們再次訪問家庭時,一定會再次入住這裏。

暑期劍橋市區住宿貴大多也沒有停車，這裏就是很好的選擇！從市區開車到酒店大概15分鐘，一下高速就是。酒店很新，有免費停車，早餐中規中矩，英式自助。

We stayed here on Saturday night. The hotel is nice and full of history together with a touch of class. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The buffet breakfast was tasty and superb. I would recommend to all.
