皇家波士頓酒店(The Royal Boston Hotel)

We paid a bit extra for a Seaview, we got a beautiful room with walk-in shower. The food was really good,loved my full breakfast. Entertainment at night was cruise ship quality. Only gripe was the uncomfortable chairs in the ballroom. There was a few comfy chairs but they were bagged very quickly by a group. The Staff were fantastic and we got a surprise when we saw Colin Head of Housekeeping, he came over and spoke to us , we had met him several years ago, lovely young man. All in all super break which we both enjoyed, hopefully we will come back. Carolyn Marshall x

We have stayed at The Royal Boston several times and have always enjoyed it. We went on the special deal weekend and added evening meal which was excellent value for money. SoeviThe food was good and the entertainment was excellent. Cleggy the compare/host was very good

Have stay many times at the Royal Boston Hotel But this time was not enjoyable . the cons . Smell of unrine when entering the bedroom , black mould in shower cubicle . Old milk pods left down the side of dresser. The room had been empty for 2 days before we arrived . Reported the smell to housekeeper & reception someone came in to put toilet cleaner in the wc .to get the smell away we keeped the window open & brought a airfreshen. The music was so loud it kept me awake at night The pos . Food was good, the team of waiters/ waitresses are hard workers . More detailed cleaning needs to be done by housekeepers

We couldn’t sleep due to the noise of the entertainment till after 12 ,at no time were we advised we would be right above it,then in the morning when we went down for breakfast,we sat for 20 mins to wait for service to no avail ,couldn’t even attract the attention of the servers,we advised the receptionist of this on our departure from the hotel,but she wasn’t interested. We then went and paid for breakfast elsewhere,we have sent 3 emails to them,but no acknowledgment or anything,definitely will not be back !!

Very poor hotel overall. The food is also very poor, if you like waiting over half an hour after being seated then waited on by poorly trained young lads this is the place for you! Guests were sending out for pizza rather than eat in the dining room! Same tablecloths all week stains and all. We would not recommend it to anyone and we're glad to leave. Overall a experience not to be repeated.

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful night away this hotel is great. We spent one night with our 3 year old. We didn’t get the room I had booked and paid extra for which is a shame but the little one didn’t mind sleeping on a pull out bed but I think older kids wouldn’t manage as well. We didn’t mention to reception that our room was wrong so we can’t complain. Entertainment looked great but we didn’t stay for it but be aware it’s loud in the rooms til late so if you looking for an early night or your kids are light sleepers this isn’t the place for you. Cheap and cheerful would stay again. Had everything we needed for a night away. Staff friendly

What a great time here we had anthea and the team were brilliant loved our spacious room! Great atmosphere good food entertainment was great kids loved the bingo .Anthea helped book our activities for us well run wish I woukd have came back here layout is great to they even went out thet way with dinner as one of my kids iny ate specific things

Room was nice and clean also had a bath which was great to relax in after being out all day. Tram was close by staff were helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend also the breakfast was lovely. Me and the kids had a great stay really enjoyed it would come back! 😊

After numerous visits over the past 6 years I’m afraid the service in this hotel has went from superb to dismal. The number of issues we experienced and witnessed was very disappointing. No hand towels I’m afraid. No you can’t have two more tea bags for your room. Oh I don’t think you can have two of each meat for breakfast. You have no towels? Oh you’ll get them tomorrow. We’re closing the all inclusive bar early. These are just some examples. At least the bar staff were up to the job. It’s the Claremont from now on.
