博伊西城市中心紅獅酒店(Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner)

Room is in very poor condition, furniture-floors-etc. bedding was not changed!!! Very low care for report to on-duty manager. Might as well be a no-tell motel, stay away.

Do not stay at this hotel! Horrible, rude and unprofessional staff, they will steal all your belongings. This hotel is situated on the corner of Boise's equivalent of skid row with an unbelievable amount of homeless people who wander through the open parking lot. The interior of this hotel is not represented well by the pictures. It's dirty, grimey and disgusting. I got into town too late to find somewhere else and unfortunately had to stay the night. I slept in my full clothes jeans and a hoodie because the room was so disgusting. Do not stay here. There are literally 25 hotels in the area and any one of them would be better for your money. Hopefully this message will help you avoid a terrible experience.

OLD!! This property has not been updated since it was built. The carpet is disgusting and stinks. Paint on the walls is in bad shape, the floor of the elevator is peeling off. The floor in the dining room had not been swept in weeks and was filthy and tge windows were gross and dirty. It's like the management is either non-existent or just doesn't care. What a dump!!

Our room was 80+ degrees. When my husband callled the front desk we were told they have geothermal heating so nothing can be done. I went down to the front desk and talked to them. I was given a box fan and told because they have geothermal heating they can’t control the room temperatures. And to try the fan. We tried the fan but then it made it so we couldn’t hear the tv. The remote didn’t work so you had to get up to turn the tv on or off of change the volume. There was mold in the bathroom in the shower and the doorframe was broken. The pool and hot tub were closed yet they use underground heating?? When asking for a refund or compensation I was told because we didn’t complain to the front desk (which we did) that nothing could be done.

Bedroom has dust on everything and spider webs in the bathroom and in the corner by the drapes. The outside glass front door was broken out. The entrance carpets were extremely dirty. The breakfast you had to pay for and the amount and quality was sub par. I am very disappointed in the hotel. Red lions have a great reputation for being very elegant.

The was good, it could have stood a little better vacuuming. The lounge chair in the room had at build up of dust on it, the tub drained very slow which made it very slippery while taking a shower. The sinks also drained very slow. The room was to warm for my comfort and I was unable to reduce the temp. I don't think the thermostat was functioning properly. Other than that it was pretty quiet.

Run down. Vagrants and sketchy oeople in parking lot. People sleeping in lobby. Depressing place. Also, I needed to use the computer in the lobby. It didn’t work. The restaurant bar was closed down. The pool was closed.

This property just has really not been cared for and it's just getting old, algae growing in the jacuzzi, restaraunt closed, fan & lighting wasn't working in the shower, worn carpet, I could go on and on but why bother. Basically it's maybe a $59 a night joint, maybe a little more!
