Bel hôtel, décoré avec goût, mais très mal équipé (pas-grand-chose pour surprendre les serviettes ou les affaires), chambre très sombre (mal éclairée). Le Spa ne communique pas avec la réception donc pour toute communication, il faut descendre au spa. En tant que client de l'hôtel, on ne peut accéder au spa si on n'a pas réservé plusieurs semaines à l'avance. Bien dommage !

We absolutely loved the whole vibe of this hotel. The check in staff were so lovely and kind! Unfortunately, we had a little mouse visitor on our balcony when we first arrived and when we were moved to another room, that one was not clean (dirty boot prints in the shower, the robes and towels were in disarray, and a smell like someone recently used the toilet). The third room was perfect until we found that the robes and slippers we’d been told to use for the spa had large dark brown rust marks on them. Aside from the lengthy and difficult check in, the hotel was great! Not a terribly far walk from anything and again the ladies at the front desk in the day were excellent.

We only spent one night here (wish it could've been longer). We opted for a deluxe room and really enjoyed it. Lovely balcony, bath in the room, beautiful decor... what more could a person want? The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. If ever we return to Bordeaux, this will be the place we stay.

Had a very pleasant stay at Zoologie. Beautiful interiors, clean and well allocated. Easy going staff, very helpful communication prior to check in. I required an urgent doctors appointment which was easily arranged. Lovely comfortable rooms!! Breakfast delicious, bar staff had such a brilliant knowledge of the beautiful local wines. Highly recommend.

Petit déjeuner ouvert à 7h mais pas de personnel, ni de pain ou de viennoiseries avant 7h30. Pourtant facturé 19€/personne malgré une demande de remise à ce titre. Chambre assez bruyante ( ascenseur en proximité et ramassage des ordures vers 6h) alors que j’avais demandé spécifiquement une chambre au calme (séjour pour examens). Literie ok mais oreillers inconfortables.

hotel tres agreable malgre un environnement défavorable ( quartier en devenir )
seul bemol , un accueil mitige au spa ; si l hotesse a ete tres courtoise , la tenue du Spa laissait a desirer : serviettes par terre ; gobelets usagers non ramasses
par contre , bravo pour l equipe de restauration tres agreable

La habitación del hotel es incomoda ya que no hay ninguna percha para dejar una toalla, el lavabo está dentro de la habitación así como el plato de ducha.
El mobiliario es muy industrial y no merece ser de un hotel de esta categoría y precio elevado de la habitación.

This is a truly unique hotel - the architecture is stunning. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Wasn’t quite so comfortable with the location so ate in the restaurant both nights. Food was excellent.

Le lieu, le bâtiment, la décoration sont magnifiques!
Un hôtel d'exception et atypique ; l'accueil est personnalisé et chaleureux.
La transformation de cette faculté de sciences en hôtel a été réalisée avec soin et un grand sens de l'esthétisme.
Assez idéalement situé pour découvrir Bordeaux.

Hotel looks great and the rooms are comfortable as well as spacious. Sadly the aircon broke in the middle of the night sending the temperature up beyond tolerable so we had to change rooms at 2am. There was no one on reception when we complained for 20 minutes so the stay was very much marred by this. Otherwise the hotel would have been great.

Initial great impression. Friendly welcome and drink at bar while we waited for the room. Room impressive with quirky decor and decent shower. Had a hanging rail for shirts but nothing for dresses but I managed to improvise using a coat stand. Nice big comfortable bed. Room overlooked the garden area and it was quite noisy at times (music playing in the morning/afternoon) so we had to keep the window shut. We planned to sit in the garden but it seems this is the restaurant. Lunch was from a limited menu. We wanted something light like a baguette but this was not available and the options were expensive. Location is on the edge of the main town with longish walks to get anywhere. We thought staff were a bit mercurial. One night there clear tension with glasses being slammed around & felt a bit uncomfortable.
Overall conclusion, nice property, comfortable stay. We didn’t use the spa so may have missed out on the wow factor.
