Copperheads are part of North Carolina’s natural ecosystem and are most active from late summer through early fall, especially around dusk.We keep the yard well-maintained and trimmed to minimize wildlife activity, but please wear shoes when walking through garden or mulched areas, use the porch light at night, supervise children and pets outdoors, and avoid reaching into shrubs, woodpiles, or tall grass.If you ever notice anything concerning, please let us know immediately so we can respond quickly.
