YHA青年旅館-拉文斯託爾(YHA Ravenstor)

We enjoyed our stay at Ravenstor. The hostel looks in need of some tic and a refurbishment though: shower out of order long-term, cracked glass in a fire door, peeling wallpaper in the dining room. We also found lots of litter left stuffed down the side of one of our beds from a previous school group that hadn't been found or removed by the staff as they prepared our room. The hostel is good value for money but don't expect hotel or BnB standards.

A beautiful location and nice big house. Great trip for children (ours are 8 and 4). The walks nearby, helpful staff, and breakfast were all highlights. Our bedroom was very cosy, clean and warm. Bathrooms were tidy and clean. Patchy wifi and mobile reception were the only lowlights. Perhaps staff could keep a supply of oil, salt and pepper in the self-catering kitchen. A great stay, thanks!

Ravenstor was the last hostel in my walking tour around Derbyshire, and what a way to finish! Magnificent views, a fine building, and restaurant quality food, with helpful and friendly staff as well. Thank you for a great stay.

A secluded hostel set in beautiful Miller's Dale. Good facilities, characterful rooms and friendly staff. Lots of lovely walks directly from the hostel. It is also possible to travel here on public transport.

The hostel is in a lovely, quiet, wooded location, is staffed by a friendly team and provides wholesome and good value meals. Plenty of space in our private room and very close to bathroom facilities.

This is a great place. Facilities were spot on for what we needed - could choose to self cater or have them provide all meals, or mix and match. The location is super with great views and multiple walks without the need for driving. We look forward to a return visit.

I've stayed here a number of times because it has a great location for seeing the Peak District. Everyone is friendly and service is great. Don't expect a palace as this is a well loved and well used place.

Had such a great 3 night stay at this Hostel. Came here for a cycling weekend with my friend and our two sons. Ideal spot to drive (30 mins) to Derwent Reservoir (Dambusters Dam) and the Monsal Trail in Bakewell (15 mins Hassop Station), where we hired bikes from both locations (highly recommend these cycle routes). Accommodation/location was picturesque, tranquil with amazing selection of trees on their grounds and some great walks from the venue. You have the option to bring your own food and cook/use facilities but we decided to eat breakfast and dinner there (food was amazing, great selection with lots of vegetarian options). Plenty of individual lockable toilets/showers, games room in the basement and a very handy drying room next door to the games room ( I would recommend more games though). Highly recommend this venue!
