We stayed here for one night on route through France. On first glance the hotel is contemporary and thoughtfully decorated. The staff speak good English and were welcoming. We were on the second floor and our room had limited head space due to the eves. The bathroom is open plan with a separate toilet that was so high our toes only just reached the floor! The bed was very comfortable and the aircon welcome on a summers night. However our shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold - no happy medium, making it unusable. We reported it to reception but weren’t offered an alternative room and the promised visit from maintenance didn’t materialise. There was no reduction in our bill to reflect this. Breakfast was €18 per person and a typical (but fairly limited) continental set up. There was a self service egg boiler but no option for omelettes or poached eggs offered. In hindsight a croissant and coffee at a local Boulanger would have been a much better and cheaper option. Caen is a lovely town and we’d like to come back for longer, but we won’t return to this hotel.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel afin de visiter les côtes normandes. Hôtel bien situé, calme : nous avions une chambre côté cour. Les chambres sont très petites, impossibilité de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes car elles ne sont pas oscillo-battantes. Finalement, heureusement que le temps était maussade, nous n’avons pas souffert de la chaleur ! Salle de bain également très petite : la lunette fermée des WC sert d’appui pour mettre la trousse de toilette… Petit déjeuner basic : il est tjs dommage de ne pas trouver de produits régionaux. Le pain est industriel, tout comme les viennoiseries.

在去巴黎的早班火車旅行前只住了一晚。酒店很好:乾淨,舒適,價格合理。(大)陽台ms是一個有趣的獎勵,使人們能夠觀看酒店前面的繁忙區域。到目前爲止,最大的驚喜是晚上迷人而美麗的環境。我爬過城堡的牆壁,所有人都可以進入(帶上手電筒)。週六晚上,還與年輕人一起在步行購物區散步,享受公共藝術和建築物的有趣燈光。沒想到在一家酒店度過了如此有趣有趣的夜晚,我真的只是爲了方便而預訂。強烈推薦。

Hotel was in a good location, breakfast was excellent - Wifi was terrible. Impossible to work, book onward travel or tickets - too slow. The excuse provided by the hotel was that there were too many guests using it and advised I come to the lobby in the early hours of the morning. If you need to work or stay connected - not the hotel for you.

Ottimo hotel, confortevole e moderno . Curata anche la pulizia. Molto buona anche la colazione. La signora della reception parla un discreto italiano ed è molto gentile come il resto del personale. Lo consiglio anche se dista dal centro quasi 2 km, però si trova vicino al memoriale ed è dotato di un comodo parcheggio gratuito.

The Hotel has three stars outside but I assume this relates to the sister Mercure hotel that is next door but part of the same building. The room we had was meant to be a twin but in all honesty it was more like a single room. Storage is very limited and the bathroom was very tired and dated looking. The Hotel bar shuts early and may not open at all so you may struggle for a nightcap if one takes your fancy. The good points of the hotel are the underground parking that they have (make sure you book it) and the breakfast was great, the lady who looks after the breakfasts is really helpful. Location wise the Hotel is a good central location and most places are a walk. Comparing it to the premier inn we stayed at in the UK en-route, the premier inn was miles better and 40 pounds cheaper per night.
