克羅嫩霍夫酒店(Hotel Kronenhof)

Das Hotel ist OK. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert, aber nur Standard. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch. Was mich gestört hat: Das Hotel liegt mitten in Schaffhausen und verfügt über keine eigenen Parkplätze. Auf Rat eines lokalen Kollegen habe ich erst gar nicht versucht, einen öffentlichen Parkplatz vor dem Haus zu bekommen, sondern bin gleich ins öffentliche Parkhaus gefahren. So war ich gezwungen mit Gepäck eine Wanderung durch Schaffhausen zu machen. Sehen wir es mal positiv, es hat nicht geregnet. Für das doch recht einfache Zimmer sind 170Sfr selbst für Schweizer Verhältnisse ein stolzer Preis.

Wunderbar gelegen praktisch direkt in der Altstadt. Von meinem Zimmer aus hatte ich einen traumhaften Blick direkt auf den Turm von St. Johann und auf den Munot. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, das Bett überaus bequem, das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstück vielseitig und lecker. Gerne wäre ich noch länger geblieben!

Nice hotel located on a square. Had a good dinner at the hotel and breakfast was good too. We were cycling up the Rhine. The hotel is near the path and easy to find. Good bike garage with charging for e-bikes. Recommended

The hotel was comfortable, but I was a bit concerned when we walked in and saw earplugs on the nightstands. We were right next to a church, so the clock did chime during reasonable hours. There was a busy restaurant on the first floor with outdoor dining. In the evenings, this area could be a bit noisy. They did accommodate us and extend our checkout by an hour so we could visit the Rhinefall.

Rooms were very nice but needed a coffee maker and more towels. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Schaffhausen is a beautiful city with great dining option and shopping just steps from the hotel.

The hotel is less than a 4 minute walk from the train station. The old town area around the hotel has lots of shopping and dining options. The facility is very well maintained and neat. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly reasonable and the food was very good. Our only complaint is the noise. The church bells were rather loud and with the windows open we could hear crowd noise below late into the evening. Thank you for the ear plugs. We would definitely stay there again.

Mein Partner und ich waren im Restaurant Kronenhof. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert, denn das Restaurant war voll. Unser Aufenthalt war vom Anfang bis zum Schluss super angenehm. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Karte bietet verschiedenes, für jeden & jede ist was mit dabei :-) gerne wieder!

Mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem ruhig und für unseren Zweck war alles ideal.
