科科提爾度假村(Le Cocotier)

one of the best resort I have been to. everything exceed my expectation - the staff is super friendly and very helpful to our needs; the room is spacious and absolutely clean and neat; The surrounding is quiet and peaceful; And the garden - picturesque and charming with a wide variety of plants. It is a pleasure to just sit in the common area and take a walk in the garden. The bikes they offer are well maintained....We also took the boat to the dam as recommended and it was so much fun. All in all, we felt like home in the resort and cant wait to come back for more in the future!

Awesome place! Enjoyed the oasis outside of the city. Loved the bike excursion as I saw a lot of beautiful views and local people! The resort was beautiful and very relaxing! Food and coffee was also delicious.

We booked Le Cocotier because we were looking for adventure activities in Mae Taeng Valley. Then we discovered they are also a hotel offering exceptionally good value and quality of accommodation. They took us out cycling and threw in a trip to Namtok Bua Tong aka the Sticky Waterfall (on the hottest day of the year). Then some more cycling up to the Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Dam for some incredible views. Then a delightful evening meal, very comfortable night's sleep and breakfast. We hope to come back to hike & camp at the top of Chiang Dao. Great service, great adventures, great hotel. 5 stars!

I have stayed here three times now and each time have been bowled over by the location, staff and rooms. Set on the edge of a small village, Le Cocotier is surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds and a banana plantation. There are many activities nearby including countryside walks or bike rides. The staff are all so friendly and Mr Tree speaks very good English and can offer local advice such as which elephant park to visit. The rooms are well appointed and upstairs rooms have lovely views to the mountains. Simple evening meals can be prepared for 100 baht and nearby there is a very good local restaurant with an extensive menu. (Closed Monday and Tuesday.). One of my favorite places to stay in Thailand.

fantastic place, even after staying at 6 other hotels travelling around north thailand, i got the best sleep here, quiet and beautiful view, room and dinning area. Too bad we dont have enough time to fully enjoy this place. TIPS: Choose the farthest room like 205 so other guest will not walk pass your glass door.

Highly recommend for big groups!! We took a group of 24 school age students there for four day trip. We had a fantastic time. The hosts were so hospitable and the food was delicious, even for some very particular students! The rooms where a great size and a ten for hygiene and decor. The team there and offered plenty of day trips and activities for the students. We were there on a bike trip and we did kayaking and an on-site cooking class, it was phenomenal. Thanks to you all for looking after us and our group ☺️

We came here for a weekend away from work and just loved it. The garden, the people, the bikes (with child seats!!) and the overall surroundings. This is a fantastic place to spend 4-6 days, exploring the nearby regions many activities and beauties with such a great base. We came back 3 more nights just a week later to be able to spend more time here. The rooms are perfect for a family of up to 4 kids/2 adults. Special thanks for the owner, Alex, who went far beyond just hosting us. Weeks later we got great travel tips and recommendations from him and we're very grateful for this.

This resort about one hour north of Chiang Mai was a real gem. A haven of peace in a gorgeous tropical green garden full of bird life and bird song and open country views. The rooms were extremely comfortable and had lovely open views to the east from the terrace. The homestay is on the edge of a small village where I could observe Thai life going on day by day. There was a really excellent local restaurant for good value and delicious lunchtime food within a 200m walk. The local staff were all completely delightful and Tree spoke good English and was able to give valuable local advice. Asian breakfast was ideal and you can get a simple evening meal if you need at Le Cocotier Definitely the most comfortable homestay I visited in Northern Thailand.
